Ngobese burial next week

Emmanuel 'Scara' Ngobese's burial next week

Posted: 12 May 2010 Time: 12:20 pm

Emmanuel 'Scara' Ngobese's funeral is likely to be held on Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

Disclosing this, the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder's brother, Thabani, said his family was still to make a final decision on whether it would take place on Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

"We are still finalising funeral arrangements."

Thabani acknowledged the support that his family has received from local football supporters since the passing of his brother passed away yesterday.

"We are still devastated as family to lose a brother like Scara. He was showing great signs of recovery and started to attend church at ZCC. We are trying to cope with his sudden departure even though it is very difficult.

"We are drawing lot of comfort from the support we are getting from across the country. People loved Scara and their reaction to his death has also touched us as family."

Scara Ngobese friend and former teammate at United FC, Steve Lekoelea also expressed shock about Scara's sudden death.

"I am shocked. There will not be another player like Scara in South Africa," he said.

Scara was suffering all alone, i hate the fact that now that he is dead everebody makes as if they supported him. let alone Kaizerchiefs. we rumours that he has started drinking just after taking his TB treatment.he should have been taken to reherb or be given a proffesional help.
