University of Pretoria striker Mhlonishwa Dlamini has warned his former teammate at AmaZulu, Warren Bishop, that he is in for torrid time when the two teams meet in the Nedbank Cup game in Durban this weekend.
Dlamini and Bishop used to enjoy contesting for the ball and exchanging hard tackles at training whilst the latter was still with AmaTuks in Tshwane.
However, with Usuthu and the First Division side contesting the Nedbank Cup quarter-final, more fireworks are expected in Umlazi on Saturday night.
"I know Bishop’s strong points very well and he is also aware of what I am capable of doing, so it will be interesting to face each other in different colours on Saturday."
AmaTuks are already in Durban and are continuing with their preparations.
"This is my last season at University of Pretoria and I would love to leave the club with good memories of lifting the Nedbank Cup. We always enjoy playing against the big guns and I am confident that we will continue from where we left off against Jomo Cosmos."
AmaTuks are without midfielder Thabang Monare after he picked up an ankle injury at training this week, however defender Mpho Matsi returns for the game against Usuthu.
