FC Cape Town predict another upset

FC Cape Town’s captain Francios Adams believes his club will cause another upset this weekend when they will travel to BidVest Stadium on Saturday to battle it out against Bidvest Wits in the Nedbank Cup quarter-final.
Kick-off is at 15h00.
Adams says preparations for this encounter are going extremely well.
The Bellville South central defender played a pivotal role at Botshabelo Stadium when they knocked Kaizer Chiefs out of the tournament a fortnight ago. Adams marshalled their defence so well that he was named Man of the Match.
“We are confident that we will cause another upset in this tournament, but we don't want to be complacent after beating Chiefs. We will use that win as motivation going into Saturday's game.
“Wits are a good side but so are we. They have seen us play and we have also seen them in action, so we will use a different approach from what we used against Chiefs,” Adams tells KickOff.com.
“We want to approach the game as if it is a final. There is too much at stake and we don't want to disappoint our supporters,” he says.
Asked if they had quality in the team to win the tournament, he said: “Yes, we have quality in the team. But I do not like picking out individual players as we work as a unit. Everyone plays a vital role in the team.”
Wits, who came into the 2010 Nedbank Cup having not won a competitive cup game in more than three years, now find themselves just two games away from a possible final appearance.
However, coach Roger de Sa and his side know all too well the threat posed by a lower league side, having had to come through an almighty scrap with First Division side Nathi Lions in the round of 32.
Though the Clever Boys took a two-goal lead in that game, they eventually needed extra-time and a goal from captain Tefu Mashamaite to see themselves to a 3-2 win over the plucky Lions.
Their next opponents, another second-tier side, Thanda Royal Zulu, took the lead in their last 16 tie this past weekend, but the Students fought back to claim a 4-1 win, with Marawaan Bantam giving a Man of the Match performance in scoring one goal and creating two others.
