AshantiGold are mighty close to their first league title in fourteen years as Ghana league title race went down to the wire.
The Obuasi based club came from behind to beat Wa All Stars 3-1 on Wednesday and can win guarantee a League title with a point away to Bechem Chelsea on Sunday.
David Duncan's side were on the verge of relegation last week but are punching their weight at the top now.
Aduana Stars will be hoping that the Miners slip up after they beat Liberty Professionals 1-0 on the road in Accra.
The Brong Ahafo club who are just three points behind AshantiGold must win on the final day against Berekum Arsenals and hope AshantiGold lose. That will hand them the title on the head to head rule after they won one and drew the other in the League.
While the League title race is intense, not much is decided at the bottom too. Eleven Wise and Sekondi Hasaacas are both relegated after Wise lost to Kumasi Asante Kotoko but Great Olympics can give themselves a chance of staying up on the last day.
The Accra club are need to beat Kotoko on the road and hope New Edubiase and RTU lose to stand any chance.
