KwaZulu-Natal fans are in for a bumper treat this weekend with the top two Nedbank Cup quarter-finals ties set for the province.

AmaZulu will host Pretoria University on Saturday night at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg while the crunch fixture between  Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates will be hosted at the King’s Park Rugby Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Sundowns settled on Durban as a venue because of the scarcity of facilities closer to home, most being prepared for the upcoming World  Cup.

Sundowns had wanted to use Loftus Versfeld but have now agreed Durban is a better option.

To move the match to Orlando Stadium, where they hosted Black Leopards in the second round on Sunday was not an option, as they would have ceded home advantage.

AmaZulu return to the venue where they knocked out home team  Maritzburg United in the first round of the competition, scoring a  dramatic last minute goal.

Bidvest Wits will play FC Cape Town at Milpark on Saturday and Free State Stars’ match with Mpumalanga Black Aces is set for Sunday at the Charles Mopeli Stadium in Phuthaditijhaba.

Prior to Sundowns beating Aces when this cup was first launched we beat a certain overrated soweto team at absa stadium. We'll beat another one again. My only worry is Trott. It baffles me why he's in de technical commitee when he's so clueless. I dnt like dis man at all. If pie city reads too much into our leopards, then they're in for a big suprise. 1 thing for sure . Sonono wont go to de semi-finals at downs expense. Cheeseboy will come haunt you again, Pelembe. With meyiwa in goals, manyisa right back i see disaster

Yah King Spark RUGBY stadium sounds fine for these 2 unreliable clubs...the stadium will not be full, I edge all Khosi Fans to go to the stadium just to support Nedbank coz this might be a disaster down in Durban.

No Thulasizwe let us not go there they always boast about being big teams let them go without us to the rugby stadium and we must watch it on tv and see if can they pack the stadium. Not to mention tickets will be sold on the gates just to help ukuthi kungabi empty watch it.

To all those predicting low tickets sale, please do as you say and stay at home infront of TV's, we soccer lovers in Durbs WILL fill up the stadium. People who understand soccer do not always go to stadium just becos a certain team is playing but its about enjoying football. No doubt the Downs vs Bucs match is a big bonus in SA sports calender whether you like it or not.
Just stay and hope you enjoy the game on a tele because the way some people speak leaves a lot to be desired about their understanding of soccer/sports in general.

To Downs male fans, please bring along your Bucs-supporting spouses and have fun.

Durban is the home of Orlando Pirates, is Sundowns aware of that? They made a big mistake because we don't lose many games there. The passion of Pirates Durban supporters is out of this world. They will feel it that Pirates is here..

3. Sundowns - league runners up, beaten by Chiefs in the Telkom and no CUP (doesnt matter when u exited)
