Nyandoro – Leopards deserve respect

Mamelodi Sundowns captain Esrom Nyandoro has called on his teammates to show some respect to Black Leopards.
The Brazilians take on Lidoda Duvha in the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup this afternoon at the Orlando Stadium and the Zimbabwean international is wary of their First Division opponents.
"We can't be going there thinking we are a big team and we are playing against a First Division team, that is not the right attitude… we will be knocked out with that kind of thinking," says Nyandoro.
"We have seen PSL teams knocked out by lower division teams and from my point of view Leopards deserve respect," he says.
Nyandoro further admits to KickOff.com that there is pressure on Sundowns to finish the season with a trophy after missing out on the League and the Telkom Knockout.
"If you play for Sundowns, pressure is always on you and we know our first game (3-1 win over Island FC) in this tournament wasn't convincing and hopefully we will improve against Leopards and move to the next round to give ourselves a chance of winning a trophy this season.
"But like I said Leopards deserve our respect, because from what I have seen in the Play-Offs they are good enough to be in the PSL, so we must respect them," insists Nyandoro.
