Orlando Pirates to end drought - Isaac Chansa
Bucs aim to end trophy drought

Orlando Pirates midfielder Isaac Chansa says the Buccaneers will try and use the remaining Nedbank Cup competition to end a trophy duck that has stayed with the club for a long time.
Pirates host Second Division side Als Puk Tawana at Orlando Stadium in Saturday night's Nedbank Cup last 16 encounter and the Zambian denies that they will be favourites going into that tie.
"People can believe whatever they want to believe, but on the pitch it will be 11 players from Pirates against 11 from Tawana and anything can happen," he tells KickOff.com.
"The better prepared team will carry the day, not one from the upper division. To win against them, we need to put a 120 percent effort because they also want to continue making history in this competition.
"It has been a long time since Pirates won a trophy and that is not good for such a big club, especially after our biggest rivals Kaizer Chiefs won the Telkom Knockout. It puts us under pressure to win something for our own fans."
Chansa adds that despite the fall by other trophy contenders SuperSport United, Chiefs, Ajax Cape Town, Golden Arrows and holders Moroka Swallows, the Bucs will still not get it easy.
"Our chances of winning can be at 80 percent now after the failure to progress by other big teams, but we need to focus if we are to lift the trophy," he says.
"We have a very good squad that is as strong as the ones that used to lift trophies and we can still do it. I hope we do it with the Nedbank Cup."
