University of Pretoria head coach Steve Barker was non-committal when asked of his team's chances of reaching another Nedbank Cup Final.

AmaTuks lost last season's Nedbank Cup Final to Moroka Swallows, but after beating Jomo Cosmos 4-2 on penalties on Sunday at the Rand Stadium, Barker admits he is cautious as he predicts a tough road ahead to the Final.

"It will be tough to emulate what we did last season and it will depend on the draw.

"But we are in the last eight, so what more can I ask for? Including the previous Nedbank Cup, when we reached the Final, we have played nine games and won eight after losing the Final so it bodes well for us in this Cup. We know how to get to the Final, but it will be difficult," said Barker.

Cosmos assistant coach Helder ‘Mano-Mano' Muianga says AmaTuks definitely deserved the win.

"It was only them in the first 45 minutes dominating and for the whole game they played much better than us and they deserved to win," he said.

Muianga also told KickOff.com that no single Cosmos player has left the club yet.

"We also hearing this rumours, but there is nothing. No-one has left the club," added Muianga.

Bamuza Sono and Thabiso Hlalele are linked with Bidvest Wits while Bongani Theletsane and Thapelo Tshilo could be on their way to Mamelodi Sundowns.
