Bucs get major boost

Posted: 2010-04-26 07:04

Orlando Pirates have received major boost ahead of their Nedbank Cup game against Als Puk Tawana at Orlando Stadium on Saturday following the recovery of Isaac Chansa and Dennis Masina from injuries.

Further good news for Bucs fans is that defender Rooi Mahamutsa will return from suspension after missing the team's last two games. Mahamutsa received a red card during the Telkom Knockout Cup game against Kaizer Chiefs in Durban a few weeks ago.

Whilst Pirates coach Ruud Krol gave Chansa run during a friendly game against Africa Sport Academy on Friday, Masina is set to return back to training today after attending his uncle’s funeral in Swaziland the past weekend.

"It was a bad month for me with injury and losing my uncle recently.

"I am fully recovered from injury and ready to work hard to challenge for my place in the team for the Nedbank Cup fixture this coming weekend," he tells KickOff.com

Just in time. Indeed Bucs cannot afford not to have 3 players due to injury on top of the list that went to Germany and hopefully we can go all the way during this competition.

Keep believing and you wont regret.

Krol must not Change his team - But I want him to give Fanteni a Chance to lead the attack assisted by Mabena - with Dikgang & Mongala running the Flanks - I tell you we can do better things and score goals - we should atleast try using the Flanks and crossing for Fanteni and Mabena - and also try penetrating from the Middle - with the One-twos passes - Make The Circle Bigga PIRATES.

Good news indeed. Surely Bucs have picked a lesson or 2 from Chiefs' lose. Never underestimate anyone. I am behind you. Up the Ghost...

South African Airspace has been closed to all flights for the first time in history due to a massive dust cloud covering the entire country.

Police have arrested the man thought to be responsible.

Apparently he was cleaning the Orlando pirates trophy cabinet
