Milovan Rajevac can go about his preparations for the World Cup in the knowledge that his job is safe after laughable stories emerged on Friday linking Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho with a role in the side.
Mourinho's name adorned the front page of the leading sports paper in Ghana on Friday with the suggestion that a consortium of Ghanaian businessmen have agreed to raise 1 million dollars to cover the cost of his services.
"The Portuguese trainer, reliable sources have revealed, has agreed to assist Ghana's team for a fee of $1million, while a consortium of Ghanaian businessmen are said to have agreed to raise the amount to employ Mourinho's services for the World Cup," the Graphic Sports claimed.
But the story has been ridiculed in Ghana Football Association circles with one official describing it as a "high end dream of some people since 2008.".
The truth is the prospect of the Portuguese coach getting involved in the Black Stars set up is no where near to being remotely close.
