I knew this was going to happen! Tiyani - what is happening with Athlone stadium & Cape Town stadium for Ajax Cape Town & FC Cape Town not hosting their games daso?

Coetzenburg Stadium - this stadia is crap & people here r not into soccer........
Botshabelo Stadium – this is not Free State??

PSL CEO Kjetil Siem must explain what’s the story here? I mean a few days ago the under 20s played in the Cape Town Stadium… or is it expensive to play there… I know Santos cheap and always play in Coetzenburg Stadium instead of Newlands Stadium.

Botshabelo is 50 km east of bloemfontein. Not a very well developed stadium but you know we are saving infra for world cup. Anyway I'm happy for now.

Siem says the World Cup stadiums aren't available at the moment. He mentioned it yesterday, apparently there is something they are doing as part of the preparations for the tournament.

Makes no difference wer You play chiefs, even in Kapstad we will dominate the stands

sean: 2010-04-20 14:18

This Botshabelo Stadium is where FSS played Tower something right? Anyway, did Siem not say the home ground of this FC Cape Town could only take 5000 people and that's the reason they need a bigger ground. How many people can fit in that Botshabelo Stadium?

Mk Mjukutya: 2010-04-20 14:25

Damn, these PSL officials, what happen to Newlands, Athlone & Cape Town Satadium. I know there was no Stadium available around Cape Town for FC Chiefs game, but they should have changed the game time to 20:00. Let alone ajax is playing in stellenbosch. What the hell is Botshabelo? As Chiefs Cape Town fans, we need these games here not in Bloemfontein. PSL sucks a big time!!!!!!!!!

vudooooo: 2010-04-20 14:27

sean you are so spot on wena Maxwell if you don`t know moego FFS & Celtics you to host their games there night & day Chiefs ,pirates & `downs there with no problems so think and think clearly b 4 u open that cave u call molomo...NXA

Koko Ranana : 2010-04-20 15:49

What the hell is Botshabelo...What is PSL's problem, why are they NOT bringing Chiefs games to Cape Town...Flip, PSL sucks, it is not any better but worse....Let alone we are still crying for the Soweto Derby (between Chiefs and Pirates) that was never played in Cape Town, but has been to other cities outside JHB more than two times in one City....Go to Hell PSL you SUCK....I was so excited after the draw that Chiefs is coming to Cape Town....

I am so happy to see that my home town Botshabelo will also be honoured with a big game like this. it is not always that small towns are recongnised when coming to the games of this magnitude. i can assure you Masele are going to blow you away.
