The Cameroon-born defender played a major role in the Lubumbashi-based club winning last November’s African Champions League but during the post success celebrations he crashed in his car into a tree in the Congolese city and suffered severe injuries.
He spent four months in hospital in South Africa before returning this week.
Banyak is now awaiting further medical assessment before being able to resume his career.
His accident came just after their success against Heartland FC in the Champions League final and meant he missed out on December’s trip to Abu Dhabi for the FIFA Club World Cup and last month’s African Super Cup success over Stade Malien.
