Majavu 'not worried' about Stoitchkov

PSL prosecutor Zola Majavu says Hristo Stoitchkov will face the music despite his resignation as Mamelodi Sundowns coach.
Stoitchkov will be hauled before the League's disciplinary committee on Tuesday to answer to charges of misconduct. He is accused of using abusive and insulting language hurled at the match commissioner Adeel Carelse following Sundowns' 3-3 draw against Moroka Swallows on February 19 at the Super Stadium, thus bringing the League into disrepute.
The case has been postponed on two occasions. Firstly on March 1 when he demanded the presence of a Spanish translator and his lawyers and again this past Monday when he handed in a doctor's note claiming he was not in a condition to attend, but was allegedly seen training the Sundowns team on Tuesday (March 16), the day he resigned.
The PSL has already indicated that "the hearing will proceed with or without Stoitchkov and/or his European lawyers next Tuesday (March 23)".
Speaking to KickOff.com Majavu explains how disciplinary cases work once the one charged for an offence resigns from his job, as in Stoitchkov's case.
"I'm not worried about it," Majavu says when asked what if Stoitchkov leaves the country without attending the hearing.
Majavu further explains that in case Stoitchkov doesn't attend the hearing, the PSL DC will impose sanctions based on the hearing outcome and approach Fifa to ban the Bulgarian worldwide until he serves his sentence or pay the fine, depending on what the DC decides on regarding the case.
