Theletsane heading for Sundowns?

Posted: 2010-03-18 14:43

Mamelodi Sundowns appear to have already beaten Orlando Pirates for the services of Jomo Cosmos' talented midfielder Bongani Theletsane.

This is after Ezenkosi owner Jomo Sono is said to have accepted an offer made by Sundowns for Theletsane.

Bloemfontein Celtic was also reported to have shown great interest in the 19-year-old star.

Speaking to KickOff.com, Theletsane confirms that Jomo Sono has made him aware of the Sundowns' offer.

"I am not aware of Pirates; interest except from what I have read in the newspapers. The other team I know that was interested is Celtic.

"However Jomo has only told me about Sundowns offer. I am excited about the prospect of joining Sundowns because it will happen with the blessing of Jomo."

Theletsane's contract with Jomo Cosmos expires in June 2012.

Ezenkosi have already lost the services of defender Larry Cohen who has since joined Bidvest Wits.

These clubs are no match to Sundowns ...when it comes to competing for players.Heheheheheheheehe

Sweyts: 2010-03-18 15:21

KaMashobana you should state as well that Sundowns sets the standards and the rest conform, I mean every better player available out there will be first linked to Downs before any other 'giant'.

This Theletsane wo'nt play kuDowns, I just do'nt see him benching Koketso who himself is on the stands.

He should wait for his contract to expire in 2012 before he can sign for a 'big' team. mh!

That is much better Wonder..or is it because u r commenting about Sundowns?
The boy is good and thats a fact. I hope he is given a chance..my bet is some big names are going to be made to leave the Sundowns ship. My honest prediction...Vilakazi for example. Watch that space...Henyekane has alredy signed for sundwons

Let the players fork out money from this Billioner, by the time he leave soccer some players will be turning millionres. Thetshelesani must go there and warm the bench as long as he is getting thousands and the end of month. Funny enough even if the soccer stars are there, they are dont win something.. Waste of money and talent.

Hatred aside gents.

Honestly speaking guys,as much as i hate sundowns.I have to admit that this is probably the biggest mistake of letting this coach go!Whatever the reasons behind all these. For most players it will be back to square one.

You could see all players enjoyed playing for this coach. This coach is by far the best import for SA football.Whether he came 2nd or what, almost all if not all players really liked his style of play.

But anyway!Watch this space something is coming.HUNT can only do better at SIONSPORT not at sundowns

I rest ma case

This are the reasons why CHIEFS will remain the best team in Africa.

Pirates is not 1 skipper team or Gayser Chiefs aka Family Business FC: 2010-03-18 16:57

Can someone help me here. Does he not play the same position with Dominggoz Pelembe.

Wonder : 2010-03-18 17:21

Sweyts: 2010-03-18 17:46

Wonder might be harsh a bit on you Mish, but your I.Q. like he says really leaves a lot to be desired.

I mean what's this???? "These are the reasons why CHIEFS will remain the best team in Africa.?????

So you`re sayin` Chips will get better on condition that Downs falters? Hhayi, ucabanga kancane! You must have bunked your kindergarten classes. lol

Theletsane is a very good player but I do not think it's a wise move for him or Jomo to just sell him to us,now.Mmotong deserves his chance now that Trott who signed him is Caretaker coach.I also do not see how signing every quality player, available takes us, if we can't settle on one coach who will rivert to the culture of carpet and win cups.I reiterate, I support winners not runners-up.

Wait a minute, what were Bucs thinking when they tried to get yet another midfielder?

Champ "Superbrand": 2010-03-19 09:36

I am happy this cow is joining $uncows. Thats where he belongs. Bucs need more players like Tso Vilakazi, Jali, Teko, Mhlongo, Dungi, Brendon Silent and Warren Lewis. Players who are motivated hard workers, skillful, think, handle pressure and have very good workrate. Not these dribbling wizards who run with the ball and end up no where.

"These dribbling wizards who run with the ball and end up no where".

It depends who you're talkin` about broe, 'cause the greatest players all do it but constructively at many a times.

Even your (favourite I assume) Rooney would do it if he could, lol 'just that he's avoiding injuring himself! tl.tl. Watch Messi and you'll see he passes as a second option, because he can.

and these clubs no match for sundowns when it comes to destroying players careers......hehehehehe

Jomo Sono needs money to ressurect his team from relegation and I think this boy is a good player but he needs serious coaching to realize his dream of being a good player. It is difficult to ascertain if Sundowns will be good for him though because there is no coach at the moment as Trot is only a caretaker coach. I also don't understand why Pirates can chase a middle fielder while there are serious problems with the strikers at Pirates. This boy definitely possesses briliant skills and with time he can be a player to watch

Mzwakhe : 2010-03-23 09:32

jomo must realease the talented boy to join the best team and jomo must fire yourself as a coach and focus on you business and live football to the new generaration like bamuza
