SuperSport United will officially parade their Absa Premiership trophy in front of their supporters and the Tshwane community today.

United were recently crowned as the League Champions for the third successive time and will now keep the trophy for good.

Matsatsantsa communication manager David Skhosana said after the parade in Pretoria today, they present the trophy to Tshwane mayor Gwen Ramokgopa.

"It is a normal trend all over the World for champions to parade a League trophy and SuperSport is no exception.

"Our parade will start from our training ground in Pretoria and visit places like Atteridgeville, Mamelodi and Soshanguve. After that we will present the trophy to the mayor."

Besides winning the trophy SuperSport United have taken home R10 million as first prize money for winning the Absa Premiership.

I wish it rains hard with hail and stones in Tshwane, or I wish for Gwen Ramagopa to fall on the podium! Lol! Just to mess it up a bit! Laags!

Hint: The gold gloss(to give a gold finish) on all their 'treasures' in the trophy cabinet, has peeled off! Lolest!

This trophy has been paraded in Tshwane for the straight consevative last 5 years.There are only 2 psl teams based in Tshwane....out of possible 26 (including 2 relegated per year in 5 years). Question is: where are the other teams. SA soccer shame man!

My advice to Supersport is not to take this trophy to that loser Gwen Ramokgopa, let her out of her office and you will see those people who were striking for service delivery in around pretoria will do.
