Bloemfontein Celtic are to continue negotiating with Orlando Pirates over the services of the speedy Bucs attacker, Tlou Segolela.
This was confirmed to KickOff.com by Siwelele boss Jimmy Augousti.
The Limpopo born Segolela has been on loan at Siwelele for the past season during which time he has endeared himself to their fans with great performances.
He has scored four goals and created others for the club's top scorer Prince Olomu who banged in 13 goals this season.
Augousti says he remains hopeful although he is aware that Pirates want Segolela back.
"We are keen on him and have made it our priority to try to sign him outright, but it remains to be seen whether Pirates will accept our offer."
Augousti emphasised that they were not involved in a player swap, but had tabled an offer to buy the player.
