'Unfit' Aces quartet sidelined

Football can sometimes be cruel, so says Mpumalanga Black Aces midfielder Sibusiso Themba.
Themba was talking to KickOff.com after learning from a broadcast on Metro FM that the reason for him and three other players being banished to the reserves is because coach Aki Agiomamitis labels them as unfit.
Themba together with Tebogo Mokoena, Clifford Mulenga and Jacob Machaka have been told by Aces to train with the club reserve team as they are no longer part of the team's plans for reminder of the season because they lacked fitness.
The 24 year old midfielder told KickOff.com that he intended returning to Pretoria after being told to stop training with the Amazayoni senior team.
"We received a message from the assistant coach on Monday that the head coach has stopped us from attending training. There was no any explanation given. When we approached the coach the following day to find out why, he ignored us.
"We tried to set meeting with the club chairman and the coach at 14h00 yesterday but no one showed up except the club CEO (Marc Grune) who also failed to give us any reasons.
"I only learnt the reason while I was listening to the CEO on Metro FM that reason that we have been chased away from training was because we were unfit.
"How is it possible to play almost the whole season and, after the last game of the season, you are told that you are unfit?"
The former Moroka Swallows midfielder says that he is not sure about what his next step should be.
"At this moment I am confused and don't know what to do."
Midfielder Tebogo Mokoena appears ready to collect his clearance.
"I am meeting them (club officials) today (Thursday) and I don't care what is going to happen."
