African Warriors have welcomed their draw against Black Leopards in the First Division - PSL Promotion Play-offs set for next week.
Warriors and Leopards are no strangers to each other having played against each other in the First Division Inland Stream this season.
The other First Division - PSL Promotion draw has pitted Mpumalanga Black Aces against Nathi Lions from the Coastal Stream.
Both first leg semi-final matches are set for next week Wednesday.
Speaking after the draw in Johannesburg today, Warriors CEO Bafana Khumalo said they have a score to settle with Lidoda Duvha.
"They are no strangers and we know them very well having played in the same stream this season. We played them three times this season: we drew 2-2 at home, lost 3-0 away and then managed to get revenge by beating them 2-0 in our third game against them."
"We just hope that the game is moved to the Peter Mokaba Stadium as I have a fear for lighting in their stadium in Venda."
Meanwhile Black Aces midfielder Clifford Mulenga says his team is set to stay in PSL next season. He adds that he is confident that they will pass through Amabhubesi and sneak their way into the finals.
"With the kind of players we have we don’t deserve to go down to the First Division. We don’t know much about Nathi Lions but I believe they are a good team as they qualified for the Play-offs. We will not underestimate them."
