With the dust not yet settled on the 2009/10 season, First Division Inland Stream campaigners University of Pretoria have released the experienced duo of Zakhele Ndhlovu and Richard Ferreira.

The pair are part of a group of seven players that have been shown the door by the club.

Ndhlovu and Ferreira have been joined at the exit door by former Golden Arrows midfielder Thabang Rammutsoe who despite his talent is allegedly troubled by a beer drinking demon.

The trio have already been told by coach Steve Barker to stop training with the club and will not be involved when TUKS play in the Nedbank Cup next month.

Ferreira will feel hard done after having been on the wanted list of Santos prior to the start of this season after an impressive showing in last season playing at leftback.

The 28 year-old has previously done duty for SuperSport United, Silver Stars and Wits in seasons past.

Ndhlovu has previously played in the PSL for Bidvest Wits and Golden Arrows.

Also told they are no longer in the coach’s plans are the quartet of Bridget Motha, Sebastian Andrews, Daniel Cardoso and Zimbabwean midfielder Taonga Dondo.

The players released by TUKS were told not to return to training last week after the break which was given to players after the end of the league campaign in February.
