Stoichkov’s scathing attack comes after his team failed in their appeal to have their League match against Moroka Swallows restarted from scratch on Friday evening.
This after the match was called off after 35 minutes – with Sundowns 2-0 down – due to a power failure at Super Stadium on Wednesday evening.

“Is the PSL the state? Too many people don’t understand soccer in the PSL. There is no clean service. There is too much corruption,” Stoichkov said.
“There is no respect for the players; there is too much corruption in soccer … too much!”
But despite the draw all but giving SuperSport United a third successive title, Stoichkov was happy with his players’ fighting display, saying: “I’m happy with the boys. We will play the championship [CAF Champions League] next year.”
