Orlando Pirates face the possibility of hosting AmaZulu at Orlando Stadium tomorrow without midfielder Teko Modise.
Modise is being troubled by a knee injury that forced him to miss Bucs' League game against Bidvest Wits on Saturday.
Pirates' biokineticist Mandy-Lee Solomons tells the OPFC website that Teko complained of pain behind his knee before the game against Wits and is now unlikely to recover in time for the battle against Usuthu.
"Although we will be working around the clock to help Teko recover, it doesn't look like he will make the squad; maybe he will be ready for the game at the weekend."
Solomons also reported that striker Thembinkosi Fanteni had started his rehabilitation programme following a shoulder injury that he picked up against SuperSport United last week.
