Ghana are confident they can reach a second semifinal in succession at the Africa Cup of Nations as they prepare to take on Angola later today.
The Black Stars have not been great yet but after taking the lifeline offered by victory over Burkina Faso, are confident they have what it takes to go further.
The overwhelming feeling in the Ghana camp is that while Angola will be massively boosted by the home crowd, they are not a better football side than the Black Stars, who have been badly depleted by big name players but have still showed their strength in depth by calling on a group of players who have not looked out of place on the big stage.
"I respect Angola. They are a good team, but we shall give our best on Sunday. I have faith in my youthful players and so far they have proved to be good fighters,” Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac said.
"We are aware of Angola's home advantage, but that will not intimidate us."
