Bloem Celtic thump Ajax

Posted: 20 December 2009 Time: 17:56

Ajax’s poor form continued on Sunday when they were hammered 4-2 by Bloemfontein Celtic at Seisa Ramabodu Stadium.

The first incident came in the ninth minute when the lively Moses Spandeel was upended in the Ajax box and earned his side a penalty. The responsibility was handed to Sandile Ndlovu, but having sent Hans Vonk the wrong way, he was watched his effort strike the post.

Celtic looked full of running in attack and they were rewarded with the opening goal in the 34th minute when Cecil Oerson blasted home from close range after Vonk had parried a cross into his path.

However, Ajax’s replied almost immediately when Derek Decamps powered home a header after Granwald Scott’s well-flighted corner.

However, Celtic were back in front two minutes before the break when Tlou Segolela, who was having a superb game down the wing, put in a dangerous cross which resulted in Decamps turning the ball into his own net.

Both sides had chances in the early minutes of the second half as Nathan Paulse’s header flashed inches wide of goal, while Spandeel wasted two opportunities to increase his side’s lead as he fired over the bar from inside the box and then let himself down with a poor touch when clean through on goal.

The game remained open with Ajax trying, unsuccessfully, to pepper the Celtic goal box with aerial balls and crosses, while the hosts were unlucky not to get a second penalty when it looked clear that Mark Mayambela had been hacked down by Aidan Jenniker.

The Urban Warriors gave themselves hope of earning a point 10 minutes from time when Aboubacar Fofana headed into the back of the net from Scott’s free-kick.

But with five minutes to go some poor defending allowed Prince Olomu to storm through untouched before beating Vonk from close range.

And with a minute to go of regulation time, the Cape side’s porous defence was again exposed as Mayambela threaded a lovely ball for Segolela, who was rewarded with a goal for his earlier efforts.

I have said it before: Moses Spandeel is to Celtic what Steven Gerrard is to Liverpool. I never understood why ODG put him on the bench.

I also don't understand why he put Goldstone on the bench. This led to him taking our defensive midfielder Thabo Nthete to defence and forcing our lethal goal scorer, The Prince to play as a defensive midfielder. Poor planning ODG.

Why on earth did you allow Celtic to play with ten men for so long. Sandile Ndlovu was playing for the opposition - missed penalty, stupid offsides, giving ball to opposition and getting a yellow card.

googling every little thing anyhow. You'll find many web sites and reviews and forums with quite a few discussion boards about luxury watches. You'll be able to also come across fascinating suggestions and info. Did you know that Rolex by no means manufactured a watch having a glass or clear case back? Rolex doesn't engrave any logos on the back also. Rolex watches often have a clear back bride wedding dresses . civil wedding dresses plus size wedding dresses And that is just the beginning wedding dresses . Yes, this is actually a lot of details but you are also putting a great deal of income. You shouldn't be afraid of acquiring a luxury on the internet, so long as you do your homework. It is possible to get fairly superior offers on-line along with a fairly very good watch. Completely absolutely nothing is practically as striking becoming a lace marriage ceremony gown. Bridal lace is so womanly and appealing that it tends to create just about
