Orlando Pirates will begin their attempt to emulate their CAF Champions League success of 1995 with a clash against Botswana’s Gaborone United in the first leg of the African football competition.

According to the draw released by CAF yesterday, SuperSport United have been drawn against Swaziland champions Mbabane Swallows in their first round.

The first leg games of the Champions League are set to be played on the weekend of February 12-14 whilst return leg fixture is slated for the weekend of February 26-28.

Matsatsantsa are set to face AC Mitsamiouli of Commorros or Ferrovirio Maputo of Mozambique if they go past Gaborone United, whilst Bucs will face either La Passe of Seychelles or Curepipe of Mauritius if they progress to the next round.
