VV has plan to neutralise SuperSport

Posted: 2009-11-25 13:18

Kaizer Chiefs coach Vladimir Vermezovic has labelled SuperSport United the best team in the League and believes tonight’s League encounter against the defending champions at Loftus is an important fixture that should determine where the Amakhosi stand in terms of staying in contention for the Premiership title.

Vermezovic’s team is eight points adrift of the defending champions who are also enjoying sitting at the top as the jammed second round fixtures get into motion.

“This is another important game for us that we need to win to stay in the race. SuperSport United is the best team in the League and they always have a Plan B in the way they play their football. But we are going to play our game against SuperSport and not worry about how what their strengths are,” says Vermezovic.

The Serbian coach states that he has a solid plan to neutralise dangerous set pieces which is the trademark match winning strategy of Gavin Hunt’s team.

VV also makes it no secret that he adores United’s Liberian striker Anthony Laffor who has been at the forefront of the goal scoring exploits of the Tshwane club.

“I am sure everyone knows that knows how good SuperSport is at set-pieces. So what we need to do is be careful about that aspect otherwise we will be punished. Based on what I have seen of SuperSport, Laffor is the player that I like because he is dangerous in the way he plays.

“People will tell me that they have scored 33 goals but we are not thinking about that because they have only scored once against us,” says Vermezovic whose team got a referee-aided win on Friday against Santos.

“Mistakes are part of the game and I will tell you now that there have been instances before this season when we have also been victims of bad refereeing. Soccer is not a play station,” he says.

Questioned about if he will be beefing up his squad Vermezovic emphasised the fact that his job is more to do with coaching.

Batshele wena Mr Playstation. When Buyile Gqubule robs Chiefs its a mistake and when Lekitlane kitlanes Santos everyone cries like a woman in labour. They must all get a life.

'Questioned about if he will be beefing up his squad Vermezovic emphasised the fact that his job is more to do with coaching.'

hehehe . . . welcome to chief mr VV!

Kali: 2009-11-25 14:22

This is the same coach who said Cheaps fans are sensitive and gay, hehehehe. On another note, more and more, VV is looking more like a Somalian than a Serbian. Either it's the pressure or Boobsteak is paying him peanuts.

Kali: 2009-11-25 14:28

Top reasons why certain teams will/ won't fortify their playing squads:
1. Kaizer Cheaps: We don't have money. We are already paying Torrealba a fortune and he's signed with us until 2020.
2. Orlando Pirates (The Bugs): We already have 100 players on our books. Oh, okay, let's sign him, one more player won't hurt.
3. Mamelodi Sundowns: Remember this player always scores against us. Let's sign him.
4. Bloemfontein Celtic: Can we take him on-loan?
5. Maritzburg United: How old is the player? 38? That's good. We need the experience.
6. Lamontville Golden Arrows: Can he play tsamaya and shibobo? Bring him along and let's see how he dribbles past everybody.
7. Jomo Cosmos: Can he trap? He can? No ways! Why do we need someone who can trap?
More to come

Matthew 8:22 "Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead"

Those going to Super-Stadium will be wasting their time. They should just allow the dead to bury thier own dead and come to Loftus where Yeye, Musona and crew will be giving free lessons on how to beat SuperSport United.

The Broke One is really out of his mind. Sometimes I wish to think like Broke and Kali. You guys are insane. The Dead (Sundowns and Pirates) will haunt you.

Pearl: 2009-11-25 13:57 [ Report ]
I can never say it better than you. These guys can't stop complaining about Chiefs. Peter Mabuza made controversial decisions in Ajax VS Chiefs game and these guys brushed it off. I am also getting sick of this.

Anyway Good Luck to Chiefs smart people for tonight. I predict a draw in The Dead's game in Super stadium

"Vermezovic whose team got a referee-aided win on Friday against Santos". SSU will beat KC even if Lekitlane is a referee. Look at how Mr. Playstation knows how dangerous SSU is. I wonder which player will shed tears in this emotional team, uthi bayatefa na lababafana.

As for Sibusiso and the crew i wonder what will be happening tonight after the game. Umsindo do!

I can't wait to see the comments on this forum tomorrow. I hope we beat Santos tonight so I can have a lot to say tomorrow.

Magubs01: 2009-11-25 15:50

"referee-aided win" that's some weak piece of journalism there, whoever this ***** is! I wonder where these "journos" studied cause it sure does show the lack of quality in their education! Very weak, tasteless piece of wording by the so called journalist!...

WekwaChoga: 2009-11-25 15:53

If Musona is not part of that plan I foresee disaster......He is the best striker KC has and VV is digging his own grave by fielding boss' son wasting goal scoring opportunities.

Shappa Musona shappa!!!
