Safa has suspended Vodacom League outfit Fanang Diatla Football Club for gross misconduct.

The club stands accused of assaulting match officials in a fixture against All Nation Shining Stars on November 7.

Safa CEO Raymond Hack says the team is suspended from participating in any form of football activity pending the finalisation of disciplinary proceedings.

“The Association cannot tolerate abuse of match officials by any club or member, there are rules and regulations governing our competitions, and we will take action against any member who transgresses our rules and act in an irresponsible manner,” Hack says in a statement released by the association.
