Amiesimaka releases picture evidence

Amiesimaka releases picture evidence

Posted: 2009-11-12 13:08

Two weeks after accusing Nigeria Under-17 captain Fortune Chukwudi of being an age cheat, Adokiye Amiesimaka has released a picture said to have been taken in 2002 of the player with his Sharks feeder teammates that year.

In the photograph, Chukwudi is shown standing fourth from left and looking almost exactly the same as he looks now.

Standing third from right is Belema Fenibo, who went on to play for the Sharks first team until last season when he joined Ocean Boys.

Standing to Chukwudi's immediate left is James Peter, who played for the Sharks first team until two years ago and to his immediate left is Oyinkuro Sinclair, son of former Sharks and Super Eagles coach Monday Sinclair.

James Peter, who played for Sharks until two seasons ago, is the player to his immediate left.

Amiesimaka then went further to make the startling disclosure that the player could even be older than he originally alleged him to be.

"His colleagues and former school mates now say he may have even lied to me. That he was actually older than the 18 he told me in 2002."

Colin Udoh

Well, Amiesimaka has been vindicated. As much as he is doing this at the wrong time the truth shall always be welcome! Let's see where this lands us!

Even if we win the title it is likely that OUR WIN WILL BE DISREGARDED AND THE CUP WILL BE SNATCHED FROM US HOW CAN A PERSON CLOSE TO 27 YRS OLD BE PLAYING IN THE U17 TEAM THIS IS A GREAT SHAME.I DONT EVEN THINK I'M INTERESTED IN THE TOURNAMENT ANYMORE BECUASE LETS FACE THE FACT WE CHEATED AS FAR AS IAM CONCERNED.THE QUESTION NOW IS THAT HOW DID NFF MANOUVER THE MRI TEST I GUESSED THEY USED OTHER PEOPLES CHILDREN FOR THE TEST.OMG SHAME ON NFF.HE'S JUST TOO OLD TO CHEAT FOR SUCH AN AGE GROUP TOURNAMENT EVEN FOR THE U21 SEF.

coache: 2009-11-12 13:37

The truth is indeed bitter. Next time, the NFF should present players going for such championships for public debate on their ages. This is too much. So Ghana won with Over-30 year olds then.....

Now I'm short of words.I hate to see people fail in life but this one is sad.
My concern is what does Adokie stand to gain?

Tee: 2009-11-12 13:44

Well well well. Adokiye has done his worst! Why on earth cant he wait till the end of the championship before raising this issue?

This age cheat must be brought to book.
If countries beaten by us at the U-17 World Cup got nasty we could be thrown out if they make a case with Fifa.

Chukwuemeka82: 2009-11-12 13:55

The reason our SE do not play good football is that the real SE are playing for the U-17 if you know what I mean.

I wish Adokie revealed this before the tournament but the fact remains that Nigeria is a corrupt and disgusting country. I hope FIFA bans us. We as a nation ought to be ashamed of ourselves. Tomorrow we shall go to church or the mosques and pray.

NFF, PDP, Senate, Presidency, etc it just sucks. What kind of jungle is Nigeria?

Ajaero: 2009-11-12 13:55

It is crystal clear all these SO CALLED U17 Nigeria squad are all over aged..... I think they are even older than the Siasa U20 squad.WE are not doing our footballing future good at a long run.

OLUSEGUN: 2009-11-12 13:56

nelson: 2009-11-12 13:59

nff and all those that over blown the situation by calling adokie names, what can you be able to do now to safe this boy football career.which seem to me to be finished by this useless incident.adokie has been vindicated by evidence, but mr adokie what are you up to?

Knowledge: 2009-11-12 14:02

Amiesimaka is talking as if he is from Heaven or even God himself. The truth is that Adokiye is just out to destroy Chukwudi career and the name of our country and nothing more.
If not, can Amiesimaka stand upright to say that he declares his real age when he played for Nigeria?
Since Chukwudi passed the FIFA -MRI age test it is not up to Adokiye or any individual to show he is the most intelligent person in the world, after all no team in this tournament can come out clean that they do not have over age in their squad.
Do not be deceived by Oyibo people and may the almighty God abundantly punish Adokiye Amiesimaka for this harm he is trying to cause, simply because he is not a saint!

Big: 2009-11-12 14:05

Right from when Adokie raised the issue on Fortune's age, i knew Adokie cannot be wrong. He is a legal personnel and will not run his mouth without any evidence to back it. As it is, FIFA is watching and could suspend Nigeria in future U-17 tournaments for age cheating. With this evidence produced by Adokie, this is case closed as pictures do not lie.

Ok blame fifa and MRI if you think u are right. But leave our darling captain alone. Am sure if he were to be your son you wouldn't have been doing all these rubbish. You have been coming up with more and more stories as we progress on this tournament, so look for more because we are lifting this cup and I want hear you have drop dead since you are angry over this nation progress.
Ask your self, can you stop Nigeria from lifting this cup?

I wish someone somewhere will produce an evidence on this useless self righteous man from when he was 10 years old upto when he was a commissioner and even till date. There must be an evidence somewhere to nail him, his wife, his children and linage. I believe in his life he must have done something worse than Fortune. He would have done at least two of the following - killed, raped, done abortion on some girls, kidnapped, bunckery, and STOLLEN MONEY FROM GOVT CUFFERS etc etc. What this accuser has not realised is that amoung the participants in this 2009 u-17, Fortune is not the oldest. He should extend his bad belle to the other countries. He should take it as his project and do a thorough job rather than tearing down only one person. It's a shame that will follow Adokiye to the grave. Partial justice is not justice.

VIC I agree with u chief, this is not an embarrassment for Africa, our under 17 did not qualify cause they played against under 30 super whatever they call them. I am disappointed with some of the Nigerians who are trying to justify cheating, mnxim shame on them.

I hope Michael Obi is as old as he claim.

Babsco: 2009-11-12 14:47

I cannot believe that they are actually people blasting Amiesimaka about bringing the truth out.
So what if we win the U-17 tournament...we have won it 3 times yet how many World Cup have we won...0!, how many Nations Cups do we have...only 2!
Rabiu Ibrahim, Haruna Lukman and Chrisanthus Macauley won the cup in 2007 where are they now...that team could not even beat a 10-man German third string side. Even our 2001 team that made the final..none of them are even in our current NT squad, or having any major success, yet in that same U-17 WC Fernando Torres and Andrés Iniesta both palyed for Spain and went out in the first round yet both of them are some of the best players in World football.
The sooner we confront ourselves over our sins not just in football but everything the better.
God bless Nigeria.

ADOKIYE, WE ALL KNOW THE REASON WHY YOU ARE DOING THIS. ITS JUST BECAUSE CHUKWUDI REFUSED YOU TO BE HIS MANAGER/AGENT AND INSTEAD CHOOSES HIS BROTHER EMMANUEL. SO GO GET A CORRECT FACT, IF NOT LEAVE THE BOY ALONE, HE DOESN'T WANT YOU TO MANAGE HIS TENDER CAREER.

No Age Cheats At FIFA Under-17 World Cup - Officials
FIFA have so far given the teams a clean bill of health as regards lining up players within the age limit. World football's governing body are also pleased with the way the tournament has been run thus far...

FIFA vice-president Jack Warner has announced that organisers are yet to detect any player who is above the allowed age at this year's Under-17 World Cup in Nigeria.

An MRI scan was introduced at this year's competition to fish out age cheats, but Warner disclosed at a press briefing in Abuja that thus far no negative report has been turned in from the random testing conducted on teams at the tournament.

"There is no negative report so far. As soon as other reports are available, we shall release them," Warner said.

The FIFA chief also commended the general organisation of the tournament.

"I am very happy at this stage of this competition. [There have been] no major problems as such," Warner remarked.

"I must commend the workers at the Abuja, Calabar and Enugu. I have read some negative comments in the local media. The fact is that rain is an act of God. In England and other countries, they have similar weather disruptions.

"In Abuja, for instance, when the rain fell, we were told in 30 minutes play can resume and it happened like that, the same thing in Calabar and Enugu."

NFF, over to you. And to all those that called Adokiye names: The truth shall make us free. I am ver certain that by the time this blows over certain things will happen:
1. FIFA will sanction Nigeria
2. Fortune will not be worth a dime outside of Nigeria
3. Nigerian youth players will be "untouchables" out side of Nigeria, except they are exceptionally good
4. NFF will hesitate to use overaged players in future
5. Our football will be the better for it, as true U-17 players will henceforth play in that category of tournaments.
6.SE will evolve a more youthful team with younger players breaking through the ranks.

Amiesimaka what do you want from this boy? What crime have Chukwudi commit that no body have committed in the history of Nigerian foot ball? The truth is there is no real u17 year age player in this whole tournament I don’t know why this foolish old man is calling for Chukwudi`s head alone. How many players in the world are using their real age? I think this is the youngest u17 Nigeria has produced so far, and one of the best.

Swona: 2009-11-12 15:35

Richard: 2009-11-12 15:36

This picture could possibly be a hoax if you know what modern technology can do in photography. There is no way a person will look exactly what he look like 7 years ago today in a picture. Let everyone pull up his picture of seven years ago and see if you will look exactly the same with the same hair cut. If i have this picture i can produce another version of the picture of this player with different face and change of jersey. The picture should be investigated before drawing conclusion.
I am certain that Amiesimeka is not doing this for the love of his country but personal agenda; what has he done with politicians loots in his state and related forgeries? If the boy pass the MRI test done by FIFA so be it.

Fellow Nigerians,

Why do we keep referencing Ghana in this Age Cheat dilemma? First of all I give Amiesimaka alot of credit for bring up this issue. The timing is perfect because if this issue was raised after the tournament, very few will pay attention to it.
FIFA has honoured us (Africans) to host these tournament and we can not do our due diligence to facilitate a good hospitality (from updated facilities, playing pitch, dressing room, environment) as well as feeding aged qualified players. For these reasons I am afraid we may not get such opportunity again.
We can not point at Ghana's wrong doings if at all with age cheat when we are caught doing it. We must first fix our own problems before we point fingers. We cheat and lie on every single thing Nigerian. Politicians lie, our athletes lie, restaurants lie, doctors lie, ministers lie, I cannot point out anything trustworthy out of Nigerian and these are the reasons why we are dragging behind as a nation.

prince: 2009-11-12 15:48

Amiemaka is very studip do you want to tell every nigeria that if it happens that this boy is your own son that you will open your wild mouth and say something like this, you are a big disgrace to this country and i guess you are doing all this for a particular post.why can't you respect your age and this country, idiot and shameless man.really we all know that all the players are over age but who cares.my people abeg make una no vex this man called amiesimaka or what ever is rubbish human being.

Ugoo: 2009-11-12 15:52

Adokiye must be a stupid man,i guess he is going mad slowly,do you have any evidence that this picture was taking in 2002,you think that you are inteligent but you are a fool,do you know how many times and many ways oyibo cheated or used us.What will you gain out of this stupid reactions.Oyibo will even be laughing at you and call you a stupid african.God punish your family, oyibo have done more that.

Niceguy: 2009-11-12 15:54

Amiesimaka you foolish lawyer keep chasing shadow, I hope you will be alive till Sunday when Chukwudi and his team mate will lift the u17 world cup, your hatred will not stop him.

Lendz: 2009-11-12 15:56

The days when we had to cheat to get opportunities are long gone.
We should be modeling good behaviors to make the progress necessary to compete on the global stage. Our students are poorly served academically because the faculties would go on months long strike after students had struggled & paid their tuition just to go home and sit idle. Only in Nigeria things like this can still happen. Our politicians & other well off officials would send their children overseas to be educated to gain an edge over the ones who can not afford to do so. Our medical facilities cannot even diagnose diabetic patient so they tell them that someone inflict them with JUJU. Wake up, please wake up Nigeria!

Uche: 2009-11-12 15:57

I think this Mr. Amiesimaka stupid and enemy of progress. this kind of rubbish can only happen in Nigeria. please leave the innocent boy alone and face your own business ok.

Toluwase: 2009-11-12 16:02

Is this the true picture of the boy in question? Well, I know there is nothing FIFA can do about that the man called amiesimaka just wants to disgrace himself. He is an idiot and stupid a man because he sould have disclosed this before now.

Thabang: 2009-11-12 16:03

Reading from the emails below , I see that in Africa we apply the rule win at all cost , I ask what about all those derseving boys to winning a place in the squad ? Amiesimaka is concerned about those boys being that are being denied their opportunity about old men that want to win at all cost even if it means risking the countries membership with FIFA .U can persecute him because he told the truth .We can't defend this conduct , the technical staff must be fired for this . These are some of the things that are wrong with Africa we want to persecute Amiesimaka what about people who are involved in coniving with Chukudwu and him allowing himself to be used like this as a 27 yrs adult SHAME on him also , how does he stand and be proud 1 day if they had won the tournament .We always cry racism and not being given the respect we derseve outside of Africa don't you think we are perpetuating the stereo types ourselves that u trust an African at your own risk .

DON: 2009-11-12 16:05

Colin Udoh and Amiesimaka if you guys don't have anything else to talk about, then better keep shut.
This is the end of this matter, both you should stop bringing up unnecessary issues here, please stop accusing FIFA of age cheat because there was MRI test carried out b4 this tournament and this guy in question passed through. then what is u guys problems here?

Dikotsi: 2009-11-12 16:09

Why are you afraid of the truth guys. Fact is the guy is cheating and the association allowed it to happen. You are blaming the wrong man here by blaming Adokiye. It doesnt matter when he revealed it, the NFF is corrupt in all its totality. Nigerians at it again....damn!

Polly: 2009-11-12 16:16

@frank, Adokiye is not doing it at the wrong time, this is the right time. If he waited till the end of the competition, Nobody will listen to him. His motives are clear for any intelligent person: he wants to desperately end this age-cheating that has brought our football backwards. Fortune is only a scape-goat as that is the one he has evidence on and is 100% sure that he is over-age. All of us know that our boys are over-age but we don't have the evidence to prove it. Those saying that Adokiye has a grouse with the player are just ignorant of his motives. Adokiye is a very successful and wealthy man by all standards so what will he have against a "small boy" to bring him down. What has he achieved or intend to achieve that Adokiye has not.

Bringing this up at this time has clearly shaken the NFF and they know now that Nigerians are ready to take the bull by the horns. Almost all of us Nigerian football ****ysts and journalists are in support of his actions because they know that winning this cup over and over with old men have almost killed our football. I pity for those who only think about today and don't care about tomorrow.

Niceguy: 2009-11-12 16:18

@Chris don`t let anybody fool you, this useless old man have his personal reason for what he is doing, so don`t call him true Nigerian at all.

collins: 2009-11-12 16:31

Thank you mr Amiesimaka and may God bless you.we know it all but as you stand to say it out with proov your a hero that your truth will set our football ever stronger after this very case.Fifa must act on this. And for those that again you have to know that our great country nigeria is not where we have to be that is only be truth we can all reach our goals and dreams.let all start for here,May God bless Nigeria

I'd like you all to look at the Germans, Argentine, Spanish, and every other team present in in the tourney and tell me you can prove that they're all 17. The truth is that we Nigerians like disgracing ourselves; kudos to all of you as you work hard to bring down Nigerian football.

Chukwuemeka82: 2009-11-12 16:38

9 out of every 10 fellows who have responded to this article have declared that Adokiye is wrong to have exposed dishonesty. If this statistic is representative of Nigeria then it means that 90% of Nigerians are potential criminals and ****** fraudsters. Why do we still blame our leaders when we can all see that if most of us were put into leadership positions today we would do the exact same fraud that our leaders have been perpetrating.
The mere fact that Adokiye has decided to stand up to the truth irrespective of the timing is something I will honour him for for a very long time.
Nigeria is in trouble if the average man on the street is a criminal. Henceforth let us not blame our leaders anymore. Alas! we are just like them and they are a reflection of us.

Osayo: 2009-11-12 16:40

I have read all the latest uproar. I will very much want make a follow-up to Austin´s write-up, which I found very precise.
I don´t think Amesiemeka is a traitor. He is the opposite. As a former footballer and a legal expert, he is in a vantage position than most people would ever have.
He chose this moment deliberately for maximum effect. Because he may well have been talking to deaf ears! It is not about Chukwudi. Learn to see the bigger picture. He is just an offer for a hopefully brighter future of Nigerian soccer, which no one hitherto has contemplated an attitude change. Nigerians are gullible and forgets easily. Prefer cheap success in the U-17 but are in despair when the senior Teams are underperforming!
In 1989, I had a friend whose most elderly brother was actively involved in the flying eagles of Saudi Arabia ´89. I was 22 years old then. This friend of mine was in the same age group like myself and there was one or two brother between him and this guy who played in the U-20! I know there are a lot of fanatics who will argue this, but it not an unusual case in Nigerian football.
You eat your cake and have it. Either we run a real youth programme while providing materials for the senior levels or we continue just like we are doing now and have despair when others around us are making progressing.

Polly: 2009-11-12 16:41

It should be obvious to every patriotic Nigerian that age-cheating is killing our football. Our footballers are no longer the toast of big European club sides because they just fizzle out after a couple of years. FIFA does not even care because they know we are only killing ourselves. I am happy that awareness is gradually building up about the consequences of our constant age-cheating. The euphoria that greeted our victory two years ago was less than in 1993 and 1985. This year it will be even lesser.

It would have been better for the future and credibility of our football if we used those young boys who lost 3-0 to Benin Republic in the qualifiers even if they lost out in the first round. At least we could have discovered one or two real young players to groom for the future. Look at Cote D'Ivoire: they never do well in these junior tournaments but they have the highest concentration of African players in top club sides in Europe. They hinge their development on sound soccer academies like the ASEC academy but here we are bust winning u-17 every year with old men who will never make it to any top European club. Super Eagles are always struggling because we don't have enough quality players now unlike in the past. I bet you if this trend continues, in four years time, we might not even be able to qualify for the nation’s cup.

Many of us have been shouting at the rooftops for ages now and what we always hear is that we should produce proof that our boys are over-age. Now someone has done that and they are saying he is after their job, timing is wrong, he has a grouse against the player, he is unpatriotic, etc but no one has ordered a probe to determine if the accusations are true or not. If I may ask, winning the u-17 world cup and winning the African Nations cup, which is more important?

isaac: 2009-11-12 16:48

These Nigerians win the World cup because they cheat thats why their senoir team never perfoms at any given stage they should be disqualified from all the junior levels

Its disappointing that most Nigerians chose to support age cheats and call Adokie names.I believe Adokie did not call himself a saint but point out the rot in our football system which has failed us for years.

I believe that those that love Nigerian football should applaud Adokie and encourage others to come out with evidences about other players.

For those doubting European players have never travelled out to know that they have records of birth and death.Which the doubter can acess easily. Those records lack in Nigeria and with the NFF playing big part in the scam.

I believe that if we expose vices in Nigeria, people will think twice before commiting crime.

AfricaUnite: 2009-11-12 17:50

I must applaud Amiesimaka for having courage to stand up to something that is slowly but surely killing Nigerian football.I know there are circles in football but this is not the Nigeria we know. Yes African football has eveolved but still the Super eagles should be up there but today we are even not sure that they would be in SA come 2010.

The only way Nigeria would remove this monkey(age-cheating) off their backs is when Nigerians thesmelves stand up to it and not wait for MRI scans from Europe. Take a bow Mr Amiesimaka...this is for the good of Nigerian football.

Stanley: 2009-11-12 18:10

I repeat, age falsification or cheat is a crime.
But i would have applauded a "charge and bail lawyer" if he had been the one to show this photo as his so-called evidence, and not our almighty ex attorney-general and commissioner! a legal professional and practitioner.
I really want this age cheat to be nipped in bud, not caring any gored ox. And until we see a an evidence, i will say Adokie needs to dig deeper please, we are no laymen. I even amazed that people are already carried away with the picture above, i really need to see the genuine paper works that come with the above photo, because if this is a show of professionalism or patriotism, then am so disappointed with the evidence, Adokie, KON and his cohorts.

LOL. NIGERIANS ARE VERY FUNNY PPLE BUT THEN TERRIBLE. WHEN CHIEF JUSTICE CAME OUT WITH HIS REVELATION ABOUT CHUKWUDI; MANY PPLE FOUND IT EASY TO LAUGH HIM AS A RAVING, EMBITTERED OLD MAN WHO HAD NOTHING BUT AN OLD SCORE TO SETTLE WITH THE NFF. NOW I'M GLAD THAT NOBODY IS DISPUTING HIS CLAIMS. RATHER WE ARE NOW QUESTIONINING HIS RATIONALE FOR MAKING HIS DISCLOSURE THIS TIME AROUND. WELL I HAVE MY OWN THOUGHT. IS IT NOT BETTER TO BE DISGRACED NOW (IF AT ALL WE WILL) AND DEVELOP IN FUTURE RATHER THAN CONTINUE IN A FOOL'S PARADISE THAT LEADS TO DESTRUCTION OF OUR FOOTBALL. FROM THE RESPONSES OF PPLE SINCE ADOKIE MADE HIS DISCLOSURE, I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT NO MATTER WHAT ANYBODY CLAIMS, WE ARE NOT READY FOR DEVELOPMENT OCCASIONED BY REVOLUTION OR HOW CAN WE ASK ADOKIE TO SHUT HIS TRAP UP UNDER THE GUISE OF PATRIOTISM. I BOW OH!

Clovis: 2009-11-12 19:09

I wonder how people reason, how many country in the on-going under 17 world cup came to the championship with real under 17 players? The Koreans paraded the youngest team yet most of them are more than 17 years of age. If you doubt me let us go to any of our secondary school and bring out some 17 years old boys compare them with any player in this championship. Not even the Sepp Blatter boys could be spared. .But we Nigerians always want to prove saint. Can Adokie say all his life he had never in one way lied about anything? Even FIFA knew that there is no way an under 17 years old boy will play this championship from beginning to the end so people should just keep their mouth shut. All country in the world football are cheats.

With the kind of contribution on this site, it is unfortunate that our dear country called Nigeria have no future at all. It is a country where greater percentage of our people never wants to do thing in proper way and when they see upright people they like to call them bad names. Can anybody answer my questions please;

Why did FIFA introduce age grade competition?

What would Nigeria gain in winning under 17 world cup and failed to see the boys playing for senior national team because they lied about there age?

How many of our so called successful Under 17 team are able to play in better club in Europe?

For Christ sake my brother, age grade world cup is organise to help develop younger player, is not a must win cup. The joy of the competition is to see them doing well for super eagle for the next 12 or 15 years not winning world cup and disappear after 2 or 3 yrs, that is not why FIFA introduce the competition. If you believe in using 28 yrs old man for under 17 world cup is good for Nigeria, we should please not complain if Super Eagle play badly. Because people like Fortune Chukwudi would have turned 35 or above and become too old b4 they become Super Eagle player. Can anyone tell me why are the following guys, why are they not doing well after putting up brilliant performance in under 17 world cup in Trinidad and Tobago 2001 8 yrs ago. Osaze UWELUYI, Kennedy CHINWO, Ndala IBRAHIM, Emmanuel BABA, Joseph EYIMOFE, Richard EROMOIGBE, Karimu SHAIBU, Austine NNAMDI, Moses AYUBA, Victor BROWN, Femi OPABUNMI (second best scorer of the competition), Ifeanyi UGO, Soga SAMBO, Kazeem BABATUNDE, Cyril GONA, Omonigho TEMILE, Suleiman MOHAMMED and Akpan BASSEY. Very poor, none of them even play in the national team or any reasonable league in Europe, because they are all old mans when playing for Under 17 team. Is that what you all want for Nigeria?

Be wise Nigerian and let us change our attitude, please u can all call me any name 4 this message I don’t care but don’t call me saint because am not one and I don’t claim to be one. But am a strong believer of a saying that says “you can keep doing same thing and expect different result” therefore as long as we keep using over age players for under 17 and 21 teams we will continue to record success in these categories and our Super Eagle will continue to be seen as a failure. Please, if you can’t say the truth appreciate it when someone else say it, for me the guy and whoever that is involved in this shameful act should be brought to book to serve as example to people coming behind them.

jiboloni: 2009-11-12 19:16

FROM THE WAY PPLE ARE DRONING ON HERE, I CAN SAFELY ASSUME THAT WE I MEAN WE NIGERIANS ARE CHEATS!!!! HOW CAN U BE BLAMING OR BEGGING ADOKIE TO LIE LOW OVER ALLEGATIONS THAT A PLAYER OF THE GOLDEN EAGLETS IS OVER AGED.WE ARE IN OTHER WORDS IDENTIFYING WITH THE CHEAT. HAS ANYONE EVER CONSIDER THE FACT THAT ADOKIE'S ACTION COULD BE TAKEN BY THE FOREIGNERS (THAT IS IF THEIR OPINIONS MATTER) AS A MARK OF THE FACT THAT NIGERIANS ARE NOT GENERALLY CORRUPT. MAKE WE DEY THINK B4 WE TALK NOW! HABA!!!!

It is obvious that no 17 years old boy is here on the tournament and we Nigerians being a country that does not like the progress of another fellow Nigerian is here making noise about thus guy age.. I was taking a good look at one Swiss black guy and i was saying to myself can this guy be 16 years as he claimed? and i have a true 16 years old boy here with me (IBOU) i can`t imagine IBOU standing face to face with this guy as in age mate...Want am trying to ask this so called Amiesimaka is what exactly did Chukwudi did that he can not play this game like other....Tell me who is 17 years on this NIGERIA 2009 Under 17 tournament..Did Chukwudi block your son chance? did he back out with any contractual agreement with you or are you trying to be the only saint in Nigeria? Biko Amiesimaka tell what this guy did

@ Stanley and other forumites who have been asking similar question, I keep wondering what the "foolish" man's motives are. If he is so honest like some people claim he is, is this guy the first? If we take all the players in the pictures above and get their international passports, will they all be using the same age they used while playing for Sharks? If Adokie was to play in this generation, will he be using his real age?

Whatever his plans are, he will surely meet his nemesis.

Since this incidence came to light, the poor boy has been so quiet on the field of play. Poor boy.

Also your augment that he Adokie has lied in his life sometime therefore, what he said (with undisputed proof) we cannot trust him? How do you know what age those Koreans are? Just a side question for you also, where are the money that was slated for road projects or for fixing our electricity at home?

Nigerians should blame Kick Off Nigeria and Sahara reporters for this show of shame because if they had not published these, there would not have been any need for all these foolishness. Everybody in Nigeria knows that age fraud is rampant not only in FIFA organized competitions but in all areas of our life. Why single out Fortune Chukwudi who is trying his best under our horrific system to do the nation proud. I want to say that almost all the players that have represented Nigeria and most other countries all over the world in the past and in the present were and are well over the declared age. Why single out Fortune Chukwud for destruction. Until Nigeria gets an effective database system for obtaining the actual age of her citizens, this age fraud will most unfortunately continue. Our priorities now are to continue to fight to have a credible governemnt in Nigeria that will usher in transperency in all areas of our lives. This will produce the desired age appropriate individuals to represent Nigeria at all manner of events. Until we do that (or FIFA finds an effective way of checking age) we should stop the selective destruction of our non-public office holders like Chukwudi. It is less important becuase his age declaration does not affect the living standards of our people. If we must fight immorality, we must start with official financial corruption that has continued to make our country hopeless. After this, we will now start to expose all those that have lied in their entire lives. Only then will we be serious as agents of morality

charles: 2009-11-12 19:49

Guys before you classify Adokiye as Public Enemy Number One, Consider the following:
1) If your team was beaten by a cheating team, would you like it ?
2) When has it become bad to do the right thing.
3) The over aged player must have been known to the NFF long before now.
4) Are we all corrupt that we have to condone wrong doing.
5) Just because other teams are doing it, does it justify us doing it?
6) Are we all blinded by our love of football that we are prepared to condone this wrongful act.
7) Have we ever considered why we are so good at youth soccer but these players fade away within few years when they should be at their peak. ( Think about it)
I have watched all the Eaglet’s matches and I am still going to watch the Semi finals, but this time with mixed feelings. I can only fault Adokiye for one thing and one thing only. The timing of the news is wrong, why not break the news before the commencement of the competition.
The timing of the news is designed to cause maximum embarrassment to the NFF, ( and maybe FIFA), it is my considered opinion that the Chief Justice has a hidden agenda, and the chief justice is an honorable man.
I like to think that not all Nigerians will like to win at all cost, just like my beloved team Liverpool or should I say Loserpool with the dive to win the penalty for a draw. (I am a Liverpool Fan)
I think FIFA should investigate this and throw us out, this will in the long run help our soccer from youth to the Super Eagles!!!!!!!.

Sorry I meant Super chickens

Amiesimaka can not say or tell the world that has was not aware or have not details or data about this U17 before was formed?

ALMOST ALL THE NATIONS IN FIFA AGE GROUPS COMPETITIONS CHEAT ON AGE. HOWEVER, I SUPPORT AMIESIMAKA FOR SETTING THE RECORDS STRAIGHT. IF IT WERE IN A PLACE LIKE U.S.A OR U.K, CHUKWUDI WOULD HAVE BEEN SANCTIONED OR TOTALLY REMOVED IMMEDIATELY. HOWEVER, NIGERIA FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION HAS DECIDED TO POLITICIZE THE WHOLE ISSUE, INSTEAD OF COMING OUT WITH A CREDIBLE DEFENSE, THEY ARE SAYING JUSTICE AMIESIMAKA WANTS TO REMOVE THEM FROM POSITION. IS THAT A DEFENSE? FOOTBALL IS MIXED WITH POLITICS. FIFA KNOWS HOW TO PLAY IT VERY WELL. THEY DO NOT WANT TO DISGRACE NIGERIA AS HOSTS. THEY KNOW A LOT OF MONEY IN MILLIONS HAVE BEEN INVESTED IN HOSTING THIS EVENT. THEY KNOW ALMOST ALL NATIONS CHEAT ON AGES. THEREFORE, THEY LOOK THE OTHER WAY AND ALLOW NIGERIANS TO ENJOY THIS DECEITFUL GAME. COACH OBUH HIMSELF KNEW FROM THE BEGINNING THE AGES OF THOSE PLAYING. BUT THE REAL UNDER 17 BOYS WILL NEVER MAKE THE MARK. THEY ARE NOT AS BUILT UP AS KIDS BORN INTO CHEMICALLY INDUCED FOODS, HENCE, THEIR GROWTH IS STUNTED AT A STAGE. THIS IS THE REASON WE AFRICANS CAN DECEIVE WITH OUR AGES.THIS IS THE REASON PHILLIP OSONDU NEVER MADE IT PAST HIS STATURE AND HIS CAREER COULD NOT BLOSSOM. MANY OF OUR UNDER 17, UNDER 21 AND THOSE IN EAGLES USE SKINNED CUTS TO COVER THEIR REAL AGES.

Doyin: 2009-11-12 20:44

My problem with ADOKIE is simple WHAT DID HE DO TO PREVENT SARO WIWA`S DEATH?..Nothing!!!.The whole of NIGER-DELTA is infested with thieves(POLITICIANS) and I have never had anything from ADOKIE regarding the embarrassment the ODILIS,ALAMS,IBORIS and host of others have cost them.ADOKIe should pls face the the thieves in his region first..!
Segun Odegbami has done a lot to reduce age-cheat by introducing SHELL CUP for all secondary schools, what has Adokie done to assist in this regard?..Nothing!.
Many Nigerians today are using fake ages to get jobs particularly in the Banking industry(I worked in the industry for 5yrs and so i know what I am saying).
If Adokie believes age-cheat will be eradicated within a twinkle of an eye, then he needs to have his head checked.Age cheat eradication is a process and that needs time.
In as muc as I don`t support AGE-CHEAT,I`d rather prefer to see this guy playing football with fake age than becoming a MILITANT/ROBBER/KIDNAPPER..!

@Frank(original),u know my grudge with Adokie...,why has he lost his voice when it comes to fighting the real Nigeria problem(CORRUPTION).This man is a lawyer same as Keyamo, late Gani,Falana,Agbakoba and some of them fighting corruptions.Or is there anything like FOOTBALL LAWYER..?.Honestly,age-cheat is a problem and it`s gonna take time before it could be completely eradicated.
Looking back now at 1993 U17 set,Kanu and Oruma are still playing while our Ghanian skillfull guys like Daniel Addo & one skillful leftfooter I can`t remember his name now faded out few years after....,but look at Ghana, they are more united than us and deal with issues like this more maturedly.
Football age-cheat is the least of our problems,
Adokie should join others like the Keyamos and fight corruptions starting from niger delta.
Chukwudi issue is a reflection of the general problem in Nigeria. It`s like pursuing pickpockets while leaving Armed Robbers.

Is this the only evidence that he has? I thought he has something better than this. My fellow Nigerians, there is nothing to show the actual date that this picture was taken. It might have been taken this year or last year. As a lawyer, Amiesimaka show know that he dosen't have a case in the court of law. Please we should be very careful of the things that we put on this website. Without a date attached to this picture, there is no evidence. If Amiesimaka is really a saint, he should be going after our government officials that are busy (governors, commissioners, and so on) embezzling our money, and not going after Chukwudi who is completely helpless. This man is a coward. He wants to get recognition from FIFA. He should have done this before the tournament started. He claims that he did not know that Chukwudi was in the U-17 team. The team list was released about 2 weeks before the tournament started. How come did I see the team list 2 weeks before the tournament whereas I live in the U.S. This man just wanted to drop a bomb in the middle of the tournament. Also my fellow Nigerians, have you seen the Spanish team? Non of those guys are below 20 years old.

Adokiye,is one of the few good men in that country.Instead of giving him a standing ovation we are crucifying him.And I hear we are fighting corruption in Nigria.what a disgrace.I am ashamed to be called a Nigerian.Look at almost everyone in support of the cheat and against Adokiye. If only we have you as a president,I am sure you will turn the country around.Giant of Africa my foot.no roads, electricity, schools,Why?Corruption.giant indeed.Viva Adokiye

FRANK:

You are talking nonsense. Can you and your fake lawyer support your claim with medical evidence, birth certificate and his school records starting from primary up to dates.

Fifa can not take any action against Nigeria because the MRI test has proved that CHUKWUDI is 17. MRI test is acceptable anywhere in the whole world. FBI, CIA and POLICE used it to prove their cases in the court because it is approved medical evidence.

Picture was not enough evidence and court can not accept it.

The problem with some of our people is that no matter how educated they claim to be, they still suffering from ignorant and lack of modern life and fifa was aware of that and that was why they have not issued statement about what adokiya said because learned men in fifa knows what MRI is.

UD: 2009-11-12 21:50

I suggest Amasiemeka be prosecuted after the tournament for "maligning" if he fails to produce CONCRETE EVIDENCE for a serious allegation.
Case dismissed for now!!!

Moreover those boys in the picture look like aged from 10-13 years. It is similar to the picture we took of my primary school team in class 6.I left primary to secondary school, aged 10 years plus. We have big boys in Nigeria and my son of 13years easily looks 16-17yrs. So Mr. Amasiemeka produce something more concrete and verifiable. This is SILLY stuff from you.A Lazy Barrister you are.

This is what jobless people like Amiesimaka do. He is only seeking cheap relevance. He is a village lawyer who thinks he can break into the limelight by causing confusion. I have a better suggestion for you, Amiesimaka. Why don't you reveal the secret deals of the Nigerian government and your own role in the underdevelopment of your state? Never think that FIFA will listen to you. Your jealousy can only go as far as forcing other teams to raise eyebrows about the Eaglets. But in the end, FIFA will certainly rely on the MRI test it conducted on Chukwudi, and not your picture or oral report from people who cannot represent his birth certificate, to prove its case. I cannot understand people who admit that you say the truth when you have not proved your case beyond all reasonable doubts that Nigeria is age-cheating. And if you really think you're saying the truth or want to say the truth, you should first say the truth about your own self and your dirty dealings. I know you man. Stop pretending. Your hypocrisy makes me sick. Wise kids do not even behave the way you do. You're a disgrace and an aberration to a sensible quest for success. Shame on you, Amiesimaka. And shame on your quest for a cheap popularity.

So many points i raised where delected.
If age is the problem did Ghana team that won under 20 all under that age? any way Fifa did their test and untill Adokie and Co and be able to manufacture a battery they have no case to proof the test where a scam cest fini.

Your honour, I submit that this is the age of science not of witch hunting or hearsay. A mere picture with a look-alike of some is not a proof or evidence. I was somewhere one day and some came by me grimming from ear to ear, so excited and happy. He greeted me so warmly because he thought I was someone he knew. This fellow could have taken my picture to blackmail his friend or acquitance. And it turned out that neither of us knew each other from Adam. He appologised. If this is the only evidence Amiesimaka has, he should rest his case because he has no evidence. There has to be a DNA proof. And since he is not the father of the boy in question I still repeat my arguement that he should rest his case. Maybe it is because of people like Amiesimaka who do not know the significance of science that led to use of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). MRI could not be so wrong to label someone who is 27 years as 17. Again this where Amiesimaka got it wrong. I am so happy I do not have any case that would warrant Amiesimaka to represent me in the law court as a lawyer because the judge will end up throwing an innocent man like me or Chukwudi into jail because of a bad lawyer like Amiesimaka. Your honor, I rest my case and request the honorable users of this site to disregard all these false accusation. I pray the court to grant Chukwudi and his team mates all the support they need to ensure that this cup does not leave the shores of Nigeria. No one should distract them on this mission. Thank you, your honour. I once again rest my case

which is the right or wrong way to fight age cheats in Nigerian football? Amesiamaka is a hero for being able to stand up and speak the truth. We all know these guys are nowhere near under 17, i knew it from the first day i saw these guys on tv. What has this cheating and winning under 17 tournaments at all cost done for us? how has it helped our soccer on the global stage? cant we see the effects even now? struggling with tired legs to beat weak teams in our world cup qualifying group, cant we see the damage we're doing to ourselves? When was the last time a Nigerian player bought for big bucks by any of the top european clubs? Which of our players holds down a regular first tema shirt in any club of repute now? We're dragging ourselves to destruction and very soon we wont have have football that used to give us joy and satisfaction anymore. Look at cote d ivoire, they dont win youth tournaments in Africa, cos they relatively do not take part in west Africa's age cheating scams, they concentrate on academies and grooming true under 17 players, thats why they're up there in world soccer now, where WE used to be. We ought to concentrate on our shrtcomings and do the right thing to move ourselves forward. Mr Amesiamaka i salute you. Let us do the right thing. Imagine Osaze Odemwingie being 29 and Yakubu claiming to be just 27 or 26? Will he be able to play for any top club in the next 2 years? i seriously doubt that. Let us do the right things. Its not about now its all about tomorrow. Lets strive to make the future of Nigerian soccer and Nigeria as a whole better. We have more to offer the world than all this.

WELL-DONE ADOKIE. That was a job well done and PERFECT timing too!!

Yes, I am going to be faced with a barrage of criticisms from a lot of people here. A lot of the insults may be hard to understand (as usual), due to the poor use of English that’s so endemic on this forum, others may be better articulated, and others may agree with me.
Okay enough of the garbage, here are my reasons for giving Adokie the thumbs-up:
· Well before the competition started, the NFF had been given enough time to correct this chronic age cheating, and we were promised by them that they would act.
· People may say that the timing is bad. It is not. We needed this sort of drastic action to get the relevant people to take action and prevent this from ever happening.
· If Adokie had made this claim before the competition, all that would have happened is that, the particular player in question would have been replaced by another 26 year old. So nothing would have been solved, meaning the status quo would be maintained.
· Adokie’s timing also means that (more importantly) the entire nation, FIFA, and the wider world would now see the NFF for who they really are.

Let us forget about any motives Adokie might have had. FIFA definitely would take action against the NFF, with a likely consequence (among other things) of getting suspended from age-grade competitions.
If that is the case, heads are definitely going to roll at the NFF. The government would then have the legitimate right to give a complete overhaul of the glass house.
In future we would have to use true youngsters, and work towards building talents for the future, and not simply trying to cheat our way to youth tournament success.

So my dear brothers, this may just be our prayers getting answered.
Once again well done Adokie, you were one of my childhood sporting heroes, and you are still my hero.

You are merely trying to save your job. I understand you guys toasted with champagne the day the U-20 team got knocked out. Well, I hope you enjoyed that drink, because it is likely to be your last. I have a feeling that yourself, and the other hoodlums won’t be there for much longer. YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED.

If i may ask, are we cursed? must we cheat and cut corners to achieve our desired aim? why must we glorify fraud and cheating, if we win this cup, is our problem over in this country?, are we looking at the future or we just want win at all cost, why must we glorify and condone badness just bcos we want to win, winning the U-17 world cup or any other tournament is it our birht right?, Haba!! Figo of Portugal is still playing at Inter after appearing in youth tournament many years ago, where are our set of players who played within that period, Figo went on to play for one of the best club in the world and crown if with world footballer, though they did not win anything, but they are reaping the fruitage of presenting real age, now u cannot compare Portugues National team with Nigeria, just like any other European country that come with true age..they are reaping the fruitage while almost all our national team players are over 40yrs old, all u cheats say why Adokie bring out this Fortune issue out now, if i may ask when is the best time for him to do it? is this the first time age cheating in football is being condenmed, Truth Is Constant, Truth is Bitter but it has to be told, Hoooooooohaaaaaa, even the 1985 U-17 till now are all over age, we never paraded reall U-17 since inception, I hereby tell all you doubting thomas that NFL never carry any MRI Scan on those boys, they presented another set of players to FIFA, are u all fools, this is Naija...anyhting goes, wetin FIFA know, Untill we change and imbibe the spirit of truthfulness, we will end up in a Dungeon of Winter Castle, then Chad, Aghfanistan and many unknown countries will be beating us home and away. Worgu protests his innocence
By James Copnall
BBC Sport, Khartoum

Stephen Worgu had been settling in to life in Sudan before the charges
Nigeria star Stephen Worgu has protested his innocence after being sentenced to 40 lashes for drinking alcohol.

Alcohol is banned in the Muslim north of Sudan, where he plays for El Merreikh.

The sentence, which also includes a fine, has been suspended pending an appeal.

"I have done absolutely nothing wrong - really I had not been drinking," Worgu told BBC Sport.

"I was coming back from my friends' house, I had eaten Nigerian food, when the policemen stopped me.

"I didn't know why they were stopping me."

Worgu says one policeman then got in the car with him and told him to drive to the police station.

"If you are drunk, you are not supposed to drive, I don't know how a drunk man can be allowed to drive a policeman," Worgu said.

The player says he was not breath tested and no alcohol was found in his car.

Nevertheless a court found him guilty of drinking alcohol, which is a crime under Sharia law, which is in force in northern Sudan.

"These guys said I drunk Aragi - I asked my lawyer what is Aragi, and he said it is a local drink made with alcohol," Worgu explained.

"My lawyer said 'This guy earns good money, Aragi costs only a pound, how can he stoop so low as to drink Aragi?'"

Despite the trauma of the court case and the conviction, Worgu says he is slowly adapting to life in Sudan.

In April he had told the BBC he was struggling in his new country, but now the young star says he is 'settling in" and now feels he is "very much ok."

This is my take, Did Adokie report this case to NFF? if so when?. A witness that goes to court to tell the truth about a man that was wrongly accused, sentenced and executed, what is telling the truth going to do? wake up the dead man? yes cheating should never be tolerated, age cheat, lying, any dishonest act, how many Nigerians are lying everyday, stealing millions, but sometimes in the interest of peace you let it go. Let us go back and re orientate ourselves as a nation, why are the moral and values in Nigeria today? do we want to start with golden eaglet?

I just wonder how can this guy fake his age, still what has it got to do with the stupid guy who exposed him? While we don know the motive behind these i also find it strange that kick off can publish such an article,it is damaging the whole african continent.

Last night i watched the under 17 semifinal.Yoh!! Nigeria has got talent(hope no age cheating). If there is so much talent why wud this boy cheat?Looking at your boys, sum look overage otherwise these is how west africans are built.

As a South African i feel embarassed when issues like these come up,but lets hope this is just sour grapes.

BishopofUnimaid02/03: 2009-11-13 10:36

This picture is not enough proof that Fortune is lieing about his age. Adokiye is a lawyer and he should know better. Even if Fortune is indeed a liar. Is this the right time to disgrace one's own country? Whatever scores Adokiye wishes to settle with the NFF, he should do so at the right time. Doing the right thing at the wrong time is not right. One thing Adokiye has succeeded in doing is making sure that Fortune would never get to ply his trade in Europe because of this bad publicity.

I wish Adokiye would use his "pull him down skills" to pull down those wicked people in power whose lies are not making Nigeria great but whose lies are responsible for the death of Nigerians in bad roads, those whose lies make Nigerians to die in hospitals because of lack of good equipment. If Fortune's lie about his age is bringing us glory, Adokiye face those whose lies do us more harm!

BishopofUnimaid02/03: 2009-11-13 10:40

@Colin Udoh, have you realized the error in your story? Read this: "Standing third from right is Belema Fenibo, who went on to play for the Sharks first team until last season when he joined Ocean Boys.

Standing to Chukwudi's immediate left is James Peter, who played for the Sharks first team until two years ago and to his immediate left is Oyinkuro Sinclair, son of former Sharks and Super Eagles coach Monday Sinclair."

You get us confused with 3rd from right is this person and then you say standing to Fortune's left which is supposed to be the same person and you give the person another name. I suspect something fishy!

Who cares if that was Chukwudi in the picture,it could have been taken in 2008.So,Idiot- Adokiye cannot make a proof, except by forensic science.Adokiye is a SADDIST who was corrupt and served in a corrupt regime in Rivers State. He stole from the state, though not evidently proven, amassed wealth and properties in PortHarcourt and Okrika(his home town).I know some of his ill-gotten properties in Rumuibekwe Estate,PortHarcourt. How much was his cummulitive earnings between 1998 - 2004 in terms of salaries and legal practice(which am sure,he never did)?.Let him go to HELL for all Nigerians care about. He can never get any fifa job or the UN,if that was his aim.

John: 2009-11-13 11:59

It beats my imagination that we clamor for change in this country. Amiesimaka is just telling us the truth that we already know and yet we deny it. When the details of these players were released, didn't we shout then that how could more than 95% of an under 17 team weigh above 70kg?
It is quite unfortunate that we have been so baptized in the pool of unrighteousness that instead looking for a way out we are concerned about the people who are in it with us. If we have people like Amiesimaka who are fearless in all strata of our daily life, i am sure there would have been better hope for this country.
Have we forgotten people like Marian Jones and lately Agasi who cheated when nobody knew but later became bigger disgrace to their families and country? I stand with Amiesimaka in this no matter what the evidences are or are not. I know Chukwudi and indeed all Nigerians will one day thank Amiesimaka for this great service he has done to our dear nation.

Well done Uncle Adokie. STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT,EVEN IF YOU ARE STANDING ALONE. When Adokie first alledged that the team is full of over age men parading themselves as boys, the NFF instaed of keeping mum knowing that what the man was saying was true started firing back at him and since he who alledges must prove,it becomes morally imperative on the man to prove his allegation and which he has now done to convince even a lunatic.

It is absolutely unfair for African,Asia and may be South Aserican nations to be using 30 year old men to compete against western european nations as 17 year old. I say this because we are not alone in this scam. It is only western euroean nations that are free from this cheat and that is why the trophy has majorly been won by Africa and Ssuth America countries.

Lucent : 2009-11-13 17:24

Let us forget the issue of pictures as evidence, does any of you really think these guys are under 17's? I know what i looked like when i was under 17, i see real under 17's everyday. It amazes me at the scarcity of truth and honesty in my country and we go ahead and blame our leaders who are just a mirror image of our corrupt and festering minds, i never knew it had gotten this bad. We say Amesiamaka should not spoil this guy's career but do you know how many careers of truly young talented Nigerian footballer's careers have been wasted by this Age cheating malaise? No reputable club in Europe will take on a talented young Nigerian footballer, they think we're all cheats, even though that is not true, all our players have to go to the backwaters of Europe now to ply our trade. WE ARE MORE THAN ALL THAT. Gone are the days when our players broke player transfer records and were the toasts of the biggest clubs in Europe. What does winning an under 17 tournament do for us? or even a hundred under 17 tournaments? when we never even come close to touching the real thing cos we have no players to play for us at that level, the few there are too old and too tired to lift their legs and beat a team that had not taken a meal all day. Cant we see what we're doing to ourselves? cant you all imagine what would happen to ur football if we were to even reach the semifinals of the REAL world cup? How many of our young players would go on to the youth academies of thee real top clubs and become genuine world stars? Stop using these old men to kill our soccer. Let us do what is right and stop this rot in our society.

well, well, well, thats really stupid of the guy, whats his name, Adokiye??? if he had such inoformation, why didnt he approach the Nigerian FA about the matter??? i dont see him as a hero or truth sayer, thats stupid of him even if the Nigerian FA were adamant, he could have approach FIFA.how stupid oof him.my GOD...thats sooooo shameful.

For all those who have in the past brought glory to the nation through their achievements, be it in sports or other endeavors, particularly in the game of soccer, from the days of Teslim "thunder" Balogun, to the likes of Ewa Henshaw (the red devils of old), down to the days of Kenneth olayombo, thompson usiyen, Baba otu Mohammed, to the generation of Segun odegbami, Christian Chukwu, Emma Okala, Best Ogedengbe( God bless is soul), our "dear" Adokiye Amaesiemeka, down to Mudashiru Lawal, Femi Okenla, Ndubusi Okosieme, "Elatic" Elaho, to the golden generation of Peter Rufai, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi (Big Boss), Mutiu Adepoju, Samson Siasia, Finidi, Rasheedi Yekini down to the present eagles, Ive always had plenty of respect and honour, seen them as role models and wished one day, according to Faze,"dem go also hala my name". This were the thoughts i always had in my head while growing up as a young footballer, b4 finnally dropping football for education since i was finding it difficult to combine Studying mechanicl engineering and playing the round leather game. However, the recent outburst by that hopeless, hapless and helpless Adokiye is very very shameful, stupid and absolutely cynical of a man like him who parades himself as a justice. From all his rantings so far, he still from a judicial and investigatory point of view, he has still not proven anything yet, he has just been wasting his time, energy and dragging himself in the mud with such a huge show of dumbness and unintelligence. To the matter on ground proper. Of all the 15 0r 16 GE players that have played so far, i can tell u dat there is no U17 player among them, except for Supersub Sani Emmanuel who looks like, but is not U17. So its something that we all know, if we want to be sincere with ourselves, so what is Adokiye trying to feel like..."A mr know it all I guess"....the only striking thing is that this team is the youngest U17 team we've ever had with most of them being between 18 and 22 years. More interesting is it that most of them are from academies and grassroot teams with only 3 to 4 comming from league teams. My senior brother met kenneth omeruo at diamond bank at Wuse back in Abuja a few days to their trip to Qatar and he confessed to me the the boy would be or less than 20yrs of age. There are many positives we can draw from this current crop of eaglets, one is the fact that academies are now being well represented in our GE team and the era of top premier league players dominating the GE is gradually fading off. Now to the Fortune Chukwudi case: 1st---> how can a man who played for sharks in 2002 now become a product of A & B soccer academy and be discovered in an academicals competition in 2008/2009 2nd----> A critical look at the supposed fortune chukwudi in adokiye's picture shows that the boy seems to be growing younger by the day as the Fortune chukwudi in the GE is looking like the son of the one in the picture 3rd----> The moment i saw that picture, i put a call through to a colleague of mine Ilorin, Kwara state to log on to kickoff. com and see a carbon copy of him, and he truly confessed that that guy really has a semblance of him. There are a thousand and one other people whom that picture could look like. So I don't buy that picture crap. More over, how can a picture taken just 6-7 years ago look so gashed and spoilt, like it was taken in the 70s 4th----> The tenacity with which that hypocrite called adokiye has pursued his "noble" cause leaves much to be desired. I dont think it is really in the interest of developing the game, else, he would have done what his other colleagues like Segun Odegbami, Emmanuel Amuneke- one of the products of his academy ie Otubanjo is in the present GE - and their likes are doing by creating soccer academies, organising academicals tournaments, where the likes of Chukwudi were discovered and so on, and not finding cheap popularity just as he has just done. At the level of his education if trully he had any, and with the ethics of his profession,if he actually knows them, such allegations are meant to be backed by forensic, medical and formal documents to really substantiate such claims and not telling people "he told me that he was so so age....." and then one god-forsaken picture which can be edited or photo-shopped. And for all those that think Europeans don't cheat, forget it....... I saw the German team at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja while they were boarding their bus to training, and no Jupiter can convince me that they are ALL 15 or 16 yrs or how on earth can a 16 year old be as tall as 198cm. Forget their food, we have more nutritious and more variety of food in Nigeria/Africa than they have in europe, so no one should bring in nutrition. I talk based physical assesment. U all need to see are the laps of some of these gyz, then u'll understand better. Ive observed several players with shaved beards in this tournament. Chech out the spanish no 9 Borja, and the no 10, Isco and tell me they are 15 or 16yrs. Virtually all of them have tasted la liga action, and u wan us to go and bring JSS 3 boys to play against them? Check out Korea's no 9, Colombia's no 11, switzerland no 9 and so on.... 4get it, evry country has a way of doing their stuff. As for Adokiye, where was he when the likes of Peter Odili, James Ibori, Victor Attah, Alams and the rest were ripping off the resources of his state, can he swear that he wasnt a beneficiary of looted funds, Where funds not being looted in Rivers state when he was the Chief Justice of the state? Did he spend every dime allocated to Sharks FC of Port-harcourt on the team when he was chairman? Is chukwudi's case the only fraud, "if at all it is", that has been committed in Nigeria in the last 1 year? I could go on and on. If Any man has not sinned b4, let him be the first to cast a stone
I REST MY CASE, YOUR LORDSHIP!!!

I have always believed that there is some substance to Mr. Amiesimaka's allegations. I simply question his timing. If you look up some of these players on the internet, especially the ones affiliated with known clubsides, you will find out that their stated dates of birth disqualify them from this competition. It is a shame. However, I am not sure FIFA will look into this matter based on newspaper reports unless someone officially complains.

Muyiwa: 2009-11-15 00:30

where was Amiesimaka all these time the team has been preparing, was he sleeping or out of the Country when the list of the team was released, i see his revelation as ridiculing the Country when there are lot of visitors in the Country. He should please grow up and be mature.

I wonder if people pretend more than South Africans. Their real problem with Nigeria is that they want to tie Africa to their apron and Nigerian is their number one impediment. While I hate the age cheating, but I do not think South Africa is better anyway. Lerato Chabangu and Mdleldle just played for your under 21 and then under 23. Can't we see how old they are. They are so old they have even expired in your national team. Stop lying guys. We know you too. If IAAF never caught uo with Chuene, you would never have admitted you lied about her gender. Even after being caught, he kept on lying. And many others supported him because "he is one of theirs". See pot calling kettle black!!!!!!!!!!!! One of you just said our education is not good, yet we are all over your contry teaching you in various fields with that bad education!!!!!!!! whao. For more on that see the following website again. http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/editorial_opinion/article01/indexn2_html?pdate=131109&ptitle=Recruitment%20of%20teachers%20for%20South%20Africa

Listen Nigeria. Don't blame the NFF. The Only person that has cheated here is the player himself. I you falsify your age how do u want the NFF to know your real age? They have taken pains to do an MRI scan and he passed it. That is the only way the can know somebody's real age these days as we do not keep records in this country. This is not Yankee, Jand or order developed countries where good records are checked. So the player can do this because it is easy to beat the system. I am 34 years old but I can claim to be 18 and arrange my documents. Nobody can prove me wrong (Except my own secret Adioke who can crop up from anywhere to hunt me). If MRI clears me then I am 18. Shikena!!!

its high time we address this issue of age cheat. the NFF themselves are to be blame for this dilema to have invited the players parent to abuja which is uncalled for. l think chukwudi or whatever he calls himself should be prosecuted so as to serve as a lesson to others

Wow This is now wow Amiesimaka hope you want thing done in a very good ways, then please pay my money you own me in 1996 when I play for shark FC when i came from Enyimba 1995 you where clearing the set for me to set because you said have not seen this can of goalkeeper before, so good, and you where to pay me 300,000.00Naria you told Mr GREEN not to pay me you only give me 15% out of all money, so what are you talking about if NFF can ask him to pay my money then you can start talking of other people over age, you are a debtor that who you are, you are hoeing me so pay me, please let us pray for him to change let him give his life to our Lord Jesus Christ Amen I pray for him to Change.
