Cosmos throw it away

Jomo Cosmos will be disappointed after dropping points against AmaZulu in their Absa Premiership fixture at the Rand Stadium on Saturday evening.
Although Cosmos dominated possession, the two teams at the bottom of the log played to 1-1 draw, after goals from Ntokozo Sikhakhane and Sekou Camara.
The Ezenkosi were the superior team on the night, but they squandered too many golden opportunities in front of goal.
Cosmos should have found themselves in front in the 18th minute when Koena Mathopa beat the off-side trap. But after doing all the hard work Mathopa pushed his shot wide of the target.
Then against the run of play the Ezenkosi went behind in the 37th minute, when Tsweu Mokoro's corner was headed home by Ntokozo Sikhakhane.
Cosmos should have equalised in the 65th minute when, after just coming on as a substitute, Sekou Camara fired over the crossbar from six yards out with only the empty net to beat.
Camara made up for his horrible error four minutes later when, after a swift counter-attack, he slid that ball past Nick Grindre and into the net.
Usuthu finished the stronger of the two teams, applying mountains of pressure on the Cosmos goal, but could not find the killer blow and the game ended 1-1.
