The South African development team, Amabinneplaas, is set to wind up their preparations for Cosafa Cup tournament to be staged in Zimbabwe next week with a friendly game against Namibia in Windhoek on Sunday.
South Africa, who won the Cosafa Cup in Mpumalanga last year, have got a bye into the quarterfinals where they have been pitted against Angola.
Co-coach Khabo Zondo has confirms the squads departure to Namibia today (Friday) for the friendly against the Brave Warriors.
"We are very happy with the preparations even though we did not get all the players we wanted for the tournament.
"All the players selected for the squad know the importance of wearing the national team jersey and I am confident they will represent the country very well during the tournament.
"We will spend two more days working with the squad after the friendly game against Namibia before we leave for Zimbabwe," he adds.
The Amabinneplaas team players for the Cosafa Cup tournament in Harare include Joseph Makhanya, Oupa Manyisa, Warren Bishop and Rudzani Ramudzuli.
