No to Mongalo, Selolwane

Ajax Cape Town and Orlando Pirates have turned down a Botswana Football Association request to release Dipsy Selolwane and Phenyo Mongalo for the Cosafa Cup tournament set to start in Zimbabwe next week.

Botswana, who have been drawn alongside Swaziland, Comoros Island and Seychelles in Group B, were looking forward to taking a strong team to Harare by recalling both Selolwane and Mongalo.
 
Whilst the Urban Warriors have expressed their keen interest to keep Selolwane for the MTN8 Final against Golden Arrows next week, Bucs have decided to keep Mongalo because of what club administrative official Floyd Mbele terms a “tight schedule and crucial League matches ahead of them in the next coming weeks”.
 
“We also had requests from Swaziland and Botswana for the services of Dennis Masina and Phenyo Mongala to represent their countries in the same tournament, but unfortunately while would have loved to, we can’t release the players as we have a very tight schedule,” Mbele says on Bucs’ website.

Mbele should allow Mongala to come and play for his country, we need the boy. Funny enough is that they Orlando Pirates do not play him, he needs game time. what about if he doesnt play again in the next games. mongala is really a good player. Mbele ao rra.

can please pirates leave the guy to go and represent our country bcause he not being used and the sad thing is that Teko is going to start ahead of him even though he played 2 games in 4 days time. 4 Dipsy ajax nid him at the MTN 8 final.

Damn! I doubt that Phenyo would ever play. Firstly Pirates were having a good defence and they conceded only one goal ( thats good)

Now looking at the striking force. Pirates have been scoring only singles goals to win most of the matches. And when we look back we will see that Pirates lost the championship 2008/2009 due to goal difference. Now Pirates have a problem scoring more goals and yet key players like Kawendo, Phenyo and Gert receive a little game time. Players like Gumbi, Mashego, Teko, Mhlongo, Shaka Zulu have their places cemented in the starting line up. They dont need to convince the coach.

We wont Need Phenyo this season for as long as Krol is under control.

Pirates should allow Mongala to go, they worship Teko so much that they fail to appreciate this great talent under their noses.... since Teko will not be going overseas anytime soon, I foresee heartbrake for this boy.

On a serious note though.Pirates pay his salary and if they feel the match does not fall on a FIFA date,they can keep him.On the other hand they don give him game time maybe maybe maybe,they shud just just release him on those basis only.Bye bye,see you month end ma Pirates
