Mamelodi Sundowns official Alex ‘Goldfingers’ Shakoane, who was arrested on Monday in connection with charges of indecent assault, has been released pending the outcome of the police investigation and a decision by the Directorate of Public Prosecution whether to prosecute.
Shakoane is facing a police probe for allegedly indecently assaulting a 15-year-old girl.
Shakoane was allegedly spotted in the vicinity of a casino near Mabopane with the girl in his car last Sunday.
The girl was later taken for a medical examination.
