The KZN Derby between Golden Arrows and Maritzburg United finished in a 1-1 draw.
Felix Obada was the hero on the day for Maritzburg as his last-minute equaliser earned his side a point, after Richard Henyekane had got Arrows in front.
The local Derby, which took place at the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban, failed to live up to all the hype, turning out to be one of the most boring games of the PSL season thus far.
The first half saw a ferocious midfield battle take place, but neither side could find the ascendancy or create any decent goal scoring chances.
Maritzburg looked the more dangerous of the two sides, with Obada causing most of the problems with two shots on goal in the first half.
The game continued in the same vein in the second half until it was brought to life by Richard Henyekane in the 63rd minute who put Arrows in front against the run of play.
In a superb counter-attacking move, a beautiful long ball from the back put Henyekane one-on-one with the goalkeeper and the Bafana Bafana striker made no mistake clinically slipping the ball past Tashrique Goldman, 1-0.
That livened the match up for about ten minutes before it inevitably faded back into the boring game it was before the goal was scored.
Maritzburg tried to get themslves back into the game but struggled. Just as all seemed lost, Obada managed to find an equaliser for United in the last minute of regular time.
After a goal mouth scramble, the ball fell to Obada who let off a powerful shot that saw the ball find the roof of the net from only ten yards out, 1-1.
