Onyekachi Okonkwo and his FC Zurich teammates sealed their passage into the group stages of the UEFA Champions League with a 5-1 aggregate victory over FK Ventspils.
Leading 3-0 from the first leg, Zurich were all but assured of progress and Johan Vonlanthen made that even more certain with an untidy goal after just 6 minutes.
His effort was cancelled out two minutes later by Tigirlas as the Latvians played with freedom.
Abdi sealed the victory in stoppage time to send the Swiss champions through.
Elsewhere, Julius Aghahowa put in a 45-mimute shift as Shaktar Donetsk won 2-0 on the night to claim a 5-0 aggregate victory over Turkish side Sivasspor in the Europa League.

Maybe when we see him in the group stages, Nigerians will be convinced of his abilities
Another good guy that played yesterday was AGBETU. Saw him play for the first time. He is hardworking. Wish them all injury free season.
