Amakhosi striker Kaizer Motaung Jnr says that he will silence the Boo Boys by letting his boots do the talking on the field.
The striker who is also son of Chiefs’ chairman Kaizer Motaung, said this during the MTN8 open day at Naturena today.
“I don’t have anything to say to those people but just to keep on working hard. I will do my talking on the field of play. Every player has his own time and when that time comes I will start scoring goals again,” he says.
Another striker Nkosinathi Nhleko says they are working hard as strikers together to improve on the scoring.
“There is no one who does not want to score goals. We all want to win and for you to win you have to score goals. We are looking forward to working towards achieving that.”
Asked if they would do that over the weekend when they meet Ajax Cape Town in the MTN8 second leg semifinal, the former Thanda Royal Zulu striker says that was their main focus.
“Chiefs are the defending champions of this trophy and we have to keep it here. We will do all we can to win this one. They scored one at home and we can score more than that and win the game and then move to the finals,” Nhleko states.
Chiefs play Ajax Cape Town at Orlando Stadium on Sunday after suffering a 1-0 defeat in the first leg at Newlands Stadium last weekend.
