Bafana Bafana are set to land in Italy this evening for their international friendly against the coach Roberto Donadoni-led Azurri in Sienna on Wednesday.

The South African squad left the country last week Wednesday for Germany where they had a mini training camp before jetting off to Italy for the clash against Italy, who beat Georgia 2-0 in the Euro 2008 qualifier game played in Genoa on Saturday.

Speaking to Kick Off before their departure, Bafana manager Sipho Nkumane said all the players are in camp and no injuries have been reported.

“We had a very successful mini camp in Germany and the team went under vigorous training. I have just landed in Italy for final preparations for the game and I am expecting the players to join me in Sienna Monday evening. Everything is going well and all players selected for the game are available.”
