Dikgacoi deal completed today

The protracted transfer saga of Kagisho Dikgacoi’s move to English Premiership side Fulham should be completed today, more than a year after it was first mooted.
The Bafana Bafana midfielder’s agent Mike Makaab flew into London this morning to put the finishing touches to the move after the Golden Arrows star passed a medical last week.
Makaab’s visit is seen as a formality and once the contract is signed, Dikgacoi will be able to take full part in his new side’s pre-season having only trained with the squad so far and not featured in any matches.
The Cottagers next encounter is in the Uefa Europa Cup on Thursday when they meet Lithuanian side FK Vetra in the second leg of their third round qualifier.
Fulham lead 3-0 from the away tie and look certain to complete the job at home, which would put Dikgacoi’s new side one step away from the group stages of the competition.
The 24-year-old would have joined Fulham a year ago but failed to get a work permit for England.
However, having completed the required number of matches for South Africa over the past two years, including being an ever-presence in the 2009 Confederations Cup, that formality was secured last month.
He has now spent the past two weeks with the club, passing a stringent assessment of his abilities from coach Roy Hodgson and his technical team, as well as the medical held last week.
