The Ghana youth international is heading to Accra to sort out work permit issues at the Dutch embassy before hitting the road back to Holland.
Osei has already put pen to paper on a one year loan deal with Steve McClaren's side with an option of a two year permanent deal if he impresses the former England manager.
Osei spent last season at Israeli side Meccabi Haifa and has already said he is thrilled with the chance to perform in a bigger and better league.
He was top scorer at the African Youth Championships in Rwanda and is confident that given the opportunity at Enschede he can turn himself into a household name.
