World Cup qualifiers Holland and Australia will use Bidvest Wits facilities next year in their preparations for the 2010 showpiece.
The two countries will use the training facilities as well as practice grounds ahead of the competition.
Disclosing this to KickOff.com today, the Students’ CEO Stan Whiting said that Australia would be using the new training facilities at Sturrock Park while Holland will be using those at the University.
“We are proud to be part of the 2010 World Cup which is being staged in South Africa. Both teams are excellent and it is an honour for a club of Bidvest’s calibre to host such countries in their training premises.
“This just shows how improved we are as a club to attract the attention of outside countries,” Whiting adds.
