Dolphins raise Iorfa alarm
Dolphins have called on the Nigeria Premier League to keep an eye on Dominic Iorfa, as the Port Harcourt club travel to Makurdi to meet Lobi Stars this weekend.

Dolphins Media Officer China Acheru claims that Iorfa uses his position as a member of the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, to intimidate referees.

"Iorfa is known to use his position as an NFF board member to intimidate referees and Dolphins feel Sunday’s match will not be an exception," Acheru said. "When both sides met in Jalingo last year in the Federation Cup, Iorfa ran onto the pitch on many occasions challenging the referee to award a penalty to his side.

"On another instance he was restrained from physically manhandling the referee.

"The fact that Iorfa is a member of the NFF board does not in any way mean he has a right to compromise referees in a league match or use his powers to intimidate them.

"Dolphins are going to Makurdi to play and enjoy a good game and would accept whatever result comes out of the match but we do not want to cry that we were robbed because we are not used to doing that."

The Alex Ferguson of Nigeria, that is , for all the wrong reason!!!
Isn't this guy one of those "former players we should allow to run our football"? He does more damage than good to our football, just like the politicians and the civil servants.

It is awful for anyone to be running on to the pitch, this guy baffles me, he used to play under Amodu Shuiabu how come he grow such a wing !

For those that think it is only our ex- players that can run better football should learn from this. Maybe when mr. Iorfa was playing in europe, there FA member use to run to the pitch to intimdate the officialls. Useless people.
