Addo initially dropped the emerging Black Stars number 2 from his squad but has bowed to mounting pressure and restored him.
Ghana finished as runners up in the first edition of the tournament and Addo has now set his sights on going one better. But he must first get past Burkina Faso who have proven on a regular basis to be serious competition for Ghana.
Only two players Edmund Owusu Ansah and Jordan Opoku survive from the side that finished second in Ivory Coast.
Ghana is grouped in zone B where there are three places available from a group of five that includes Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Togo and Niger. |
