Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Pule Ekstein could find himself in new colours next season as Amakhosi drag their feet in offering him a new contract.

Ekstein's contract with the Glamour Boys is set to expire at the end of June this year, meaning the 28-year-old is free to sign a pre-contract with any team.

According to a close source to Ekstein, the club has not yet indicated if he will be offered a new deal for next season.

"They've still not said anything," the source tells KickOff.com.

"His contract is expiring in June and the club has not made any contact in terms of negotiations over a new deal."

Ekstein made his debut back in the 2014/15 season and has made 86 appearances since then, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.
