Ronaldo reacts to Atletico taunts

Cristiano Ronaldo offered a controversial reaction to Atletico Madrid fans after he was taunted throughout Juventus' UEFA Champions League defeat upon his return to Madrid.

Juve and their attacking talisman came into the round of 16 first-leg tie as favourites due to their impressive form of late but now face the prospect of an early exit at the hands of Diego Simeone's men.

The LaLiga outfit netted two second-half goals and visibly frustrated Ronaldo and co,  with the Portugal captain jeered and taunted at the Wanda Metropolitano.

After the game and before departing the stadium the five-time winner of the UEFA Champions League reminded his former rival fans of his achievements as a response.

"I have five Champions Leagues, and Atletico have none," as he gestured the five and zero with his hands.

When also pressed on the likelihood of Atletico Madrid making it to the quarter-final, Ronaldo was elusive, "We will see in the second leg," he stated.
