Polokwane claimed a point at the defending Absa Premiership champions after playing to a 1-1 draw at Loftus Versfeld on Tuesday evening.

Phiri, whose header led to Denis Onyango's own goal, feels they did everything on the pitch.

“I feel good, I think we played very well. We played according to the instructions from the coach and I’m very proud of the boys,” Phiri said on SuperSport TV.

“The coach said we must stay compact, not allow them to play and we had to make sure we get the second balls. I think we did everything right today,” he continued.

“When I first made the move I knew this was my goal. I just want to thank God for that,” he said.
