Nange could find himself in limbo

Black Leopards midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange could find himself out in the cold at the club following his decision to pen a pre-contract with Bidvest Wits.

Wits last week announced they had secured Nange's services for next season, with his existing deal at Leopards set to expire in June.

According to a source, Lidoda Duvha's top brass are unhappy Nange snubbed a contract extension offer in favour of joining the Absa Premiership leaders.

"Nange's signing with Wits has not sat down well with the management," said the source.

"He could find himself in the stands for the remainder of the season."

Leopards coach Dylan Kerr refused to say whether Nange is still in his plans this season, saying the club's management were better placed to comment on the matter.

When pressed on why Nange was excluded from his side that beat SuperSport United 2-0 on Saturday, Kerr said: "I felt that if he was on the bench it would have been too much for him considering how it was done and announced."

The 27-year-old Nange has scored two goals in 13 appearances in all competitions this campaign.
