Ligue 1: Monaco's survival hopes dented

AS Monaco missed the chance to boost their survival hopes after only managing a point away to Olympique Marseille on Sunday night.
Nantes 0-1 Rennes
Rennes grabbed a crucial 1-0 victory away from home over Nantes to move back into the top half of the table.
An early strike from Damien Da Silva was enough to separate the two sides who have shown maddening inconsistency much of the season.
Toulouse 1-2 Strasbourg
Strasbourg put on a stern second-half display for a vital 2-1 win at Toulouse inside the Stade Municipal.
After taking an early lead through Ludovic Ajorque, the home side hit back on the half and hour mark through a penalty from Yaya Sanogo.
Ibrahim Sissoko came up with the all-important strike for the visitors midway in the second half for the massive three points.
Dijon FCO 1-1 Montpellier
Following a goalless first half at the Stade Gaston Gerard, Dijon and Montpellier returned from the dressing rooms to settle for a 1-1 draw.
Dijon drew first blood on the hour mark through Wesley Said, but the momentum was evaded swiftly by Damien La Tallec forcing a share of the spoils.
Marseille 1-1 AS Monaco
Marseille and struggling Monaco settled for a 1-1 draw at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille in Sunday’s Ligue 1 action.
A goal inside 13 minutes from Maxime Lopez gave the home side an early lead, which was cancelled seven minutes to halftime by Youri Tielemans.
The draw does little for Thierry Henry’s side, who remain just three points off bottom-placed Guingamp while Marseille slip further down the Europa League slots.
