Pirates showed character on Tuesday to bounce back from their Telkom Knockout final loss to Baroka last weekend with a 3-1 victory over struggling Free State Stars at Goble Park.

"We are good now after we were disappointed with the results at the weekend, but that’s gone," Jele said.

"All we must focus now is on the new journey and focus on our upcoming game, that’s all.

"All I can say now, our focus is on the game on Saturday, that’s the first thing we are trying to do now. The next thing we will see what will happen.

"Our technical team did their homework very well, so we are looking forward to the game."

Bucs were last night drawn to face Black Leopards in the last-32 of the Nedbank Cup, a side they beat 2-1 in the league earlier this season.

Jele added: "It is a good draw, playing against a team that we played previously in the league. We just have to do our work and put in a lot of effort and try to stay in the competition until the last day.

"We are prepared for any team, we don’t have to choose. We just must focus on ourselves and on the moment of the day. If we are playing the league or a competition, we just must focus on that.
