Numerous media reports have linked Makhaula with a move away from the 2018 Nedbank Cup champions, but he has poured cold water on the rumours.

The 29-year-old, whose existing deal in Bethlehem expires in June, has played 14 games in all competitions this season.

"I think I'm still going to be here next season," Makhaula tells KickOff.com.

"You can take that and you will see for yourself. Soon we will meet [with Stars’ management].

"I have left everything to my agent, but soon everything will be alright.

"I'm staying here, I'm not going anywhere else. Ja, next season I will be here."
