Algerian champions CS Constantine have shown interest in ex-Free State Stars head coach Luc Eymael.

According to a source, the north African club contacted the Belgian on Wednesday after he received his release papers from Ea Lla Koto.

"The coach is now free, so now he will analyse the offers and wait to see if people want to meet him," says the source.

"He received some calls by phone but knowing Luc he prefers meeting people face to face. Constantine are managed by a company and they have to put in place a new chairman today before everything will be clear tomorrow. But Luc's first idea is to stay here in South Africa."

Eymael has also caught the attention of Black Leopards, who parted ways with Joel Masutha on Monday.

Constantine are ninth on the table with 16 points from 14 matches, having lost to 2-1 to log leaders USM Alger this week.
