Maritzburg United have their eye on Mbabane Swallows midfielder Richard McCreesh.

The Swaziland international reportedly caught Maritzburg's attention with his performances in the CAF Champions League last season.

According to reports from across the border, United officials travelled to Mbabane to view McCreesh in action during his country's recent African Natons Cup qualifier with Tunisia.

"The club has made enquiries about McCreesh," says a source.

"They travelled all way to watch him playing for the national team.

"He is due to arrive for an assessment."

The Team of Choice signed McCreesh's international teammate Justice Figuareido during the off-season.

Meanwhile, United right-back Pogiso Sanoka has attracted interest from Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.
