Alfred Ndengane looks closer to being named as an Orlando Pirates player after moving into one of the club's apartments.
The defender was linked with a move to the Sea Robbers prior to terminating his contract with Bloemfontein Celtic at the beginning of the month.
Talk of Ndengane joining Pirates intensifed after he was spotted in a Bucs tracksuit in the players' suite during the club's clash against Golden Arrows at Orlando Stadium a fortnight ago.
According to a source, Ndengane is still training by himself but the Buccaneers are making the necessary arrangements to welcome the 31-year-old to Mayfair.
"The player has been moved to the club house somewhere in Johannesburg," says the source.
"One of the club officials Mpumi Khoza was at the club house to drop him [off], but he is still yet to start training with Orlando Pirates."
